My biggest concern about CU heading into the opener
- That the Buffs haven't played well in their first game of the season under Mike MacIntyre (46%, 151 Votes)
- That the last nine months of positive talk will prove to be just that - talk - and we'll be disappointed once again (45%, 147 Votes)
- That CSU has had a month to prepare for their Super Bowl (9%, 31 Votes)

The "under-the-radar" offensive player who will have the biggest impact in 2016:
- RB Donovan Lee (31%, 79 Votes)
- WR Bryce Bobo (30%, 75 Votes)
- WR Tony Julmisse (15%, 38 Votes)
- WR Devin Ross (12%, 30 Votes)
- WR Jay MacIntyre (7%, 17 Votes)
- OL Sam Kronshage (5%, 13 Votes)
Start Date: August 27, 2016 @ 2:20 pm
End Date: No Expiry
The most useful "number" in putting CSU fans in their place
- 6 - As in CU, even in its worst ten-year stretch in history, is 6-4 over CSU (and 9-4, by the way, over the last 13) (56%, 122 Votes)
- .735 - As in CU's winning percentage in the all-time series (63-22-2) (38%, 81 Votes)
- 25 - As in CU is 25th in all-time victories (685); CSU is 92nd (506) (6%, 13 Votes)
Start Date: August 26, 2016 @ 1:34 pm
End Date: No Expiry
If CU goes bowling in 2016, it will be attributable mostly to:
- Coach Mac finally being able to fill out a starting lineup with mostly seasoned upperclassmen (47%, 166 Votes)
- The rise in the quality of defensive play, thanks to 2nd-year defensive coordinator Jim Leavitt (37%, 129 Votes)
- The upgrade in play-calling, recruiting, and enthusiasm brought about by the hiring of Darrin Chiaverini (16%, 58 Votes)
Start Date: August 25, 2016 @ 1:26 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Your present emotional state concerning the RMS
- Concerned. Until Mac & Co. can demonstrate they can get their team up for openers, there is a chance at a loss (39%, 150 Votes)
- Anxious. If the Buffs can't beat the Rams, the season will basically be over before Labor Day ... again (31%, 117 Votes)
- Confident. Buffs are clearly superior in talent. I don't see how this will be a nail-biter (30%, 114 Votes)
Start Date: August 24, 2016 @ 12:50 pm
End Date: No Expiry

Stuart:
I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
