What is your prediction for CU at Arizona State (Sat., 4:00 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks)
- Same old; same old. Buffs struggle early, fall behind, mount a mid-game comeback, lose in the end. Nothing new to see here. (52%, 102 Votes)
- You're kidding, right? This Buff team will struggle to win games at home - forget about any chance of a win on the road against the last Pac-12 team to be ranked. An ASU rout. (31%, 60 Votes)
- Actually, I see a win. The Sun Devils have lost their last two games, at home, to Princeton and Utah. They are as vulnerable as they are going to be, and are ripe for the taking (17%, 33 Votes)

Buffs fall on the road, 64-56, to Arizona. Thoughts?
- Fall behind early; fail to catch up. Lather, rinse, repeat with Tad Boyle's Buffs. I appreciate what Boyle has done overall, but he does not appear to have the ability to take CU to the next level (50%, 125 Votes)
- The Buffs lost in Tucson? Well, considering the last time CU won against Arizona in Tucson, Eisenhower was in the White House, I guess we can't be too surprised (39%, 99 Votes)
- I do appreciate how the Buffs fought back in the second half. It bodes well for a team which is on equal footing with much of the conference in terms of issues ... and potential for success (11%, 27 Votes)
Start Date: January 3, 2019 @ 10:09 pm
End Date: No Expiry
What do you predict to be CU's Pac-12 record after the Buffs' trip to the desert?
- 0-2 ... We are talking about a CU team which lost to San Diego, Indiana State, and Hawai'i, right? I definitely foresee an 0-2 start to the conference season (61%, 166 Votes)
- 1-1 ... Not sure if the Buffs will beat the Wildcats or the Sun Devils, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Buffs found a way to a road win this weekend (35%, 95 Votes)
- 2-0 ... In a down year for the Pac-12, anything can happen. This could be the year the Buffs sweep the Arizona schools on the road (4%, 12 Votes)
Start Date: January 2, 2019 @ 7:39 pm
End Date: No Expiry
What is your favorite CU January 1st bowl game memory?
- Orange Bowl, 1991 - Not a great game (10-9), and the punt return by Rocket late diminished the celebration - but it was CU's national title game! (59%, 164 Votes)
- Fiesta Bowl, 1995 - McCartney, Stewart, and Salaam all go out winners in a trouncing of Notre Dame (30%, 83 Votes)
- Orange Bowl, 1990 - True, the Buffs didn't win the game, but the 11-0 Buffs spent the month leading up to the game as the undisputed No. 1 team in the nation (8%, 22 Votes)
- Cotton Bowl, 1996 - Buffs dominate Oregon, 38-6 (fake punt!) ... even though it led to Phil Knight opening up his checkbook to make Oregon a national power (3%, 7 Votes)
Start Date: January 1, 2019 @ 7:05 pm
End Date: No Expiry
The Pac-12 goes 2-1 in New Year's Eve bowls. Thoughts on the results?
- The Pac-12 is 3-3 in bowls a year after going 1-8 (with the Rose Bowl still to be played). Not great, but certainly an improvement over last year (62%, 130 Votes)
- Goes to show how strange bowls can be. Stanford and Oregon should have lost, but won, while Utah should have won, but lost. Bowls are irrelevant - nothing to take from these results (20%, 41 Votes)
- The fact that Stanford and Oregon scored a total of 21 points in their victories is not something to celebrate. Ugly, ugly wins, and Utah's taking a 20-3 lead and turning it into a 31-20 loss? Yikes! (18%, 39 Votes)
Start Date: December 31, 2018 @ 10:06 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
