What impact will Jake Wray's commitment have on other recruits from the Southeast?
- To be determined. I would like to think that Tucker & Co. would keep lines of communication open with coaches they know in the South, but we'll see if that results in 2020 CU recruits (61%, 144 Votes)

Athlon predicts that the Pac-12 will have ten bowl-eligible teams. Thoughts?
- Not sure ... but if there are ten bowl-eligible teams (and CU is not one of them), it will be a very disappointing season (52%, 75 Votes)
- Disagree. There will be separation, and there will be around 7-8 bowl eligible teams, just like in recent years (38%, 54 Votes)
- Agree. The league is so balanced (read: "mediocre") that I wouldn't be a bit surprised if there are a number of 6-6 and 7-5 Pac-12 teams come December (10%, 14 Votes)

Nebraska is ranked in the Top 25 of most preseason polls. Are the Cornhuskers contenders or pretenders?
- Not sure ... I just know that the Buffs better be ready for a sellout crowd (with plenty of red in it) for Mel Tucker's home debut. CU CAN'T lose this game!! (55%, 131 Votes)
- Pretenders. Nebraska loses its leading RB, leading WR wide receiver, 3/5 of the O-Line and 4 of 5 leading tacklers - from a 4-8 team. Don't listen to the hype (40%, 94 Votes)
- Contenders. The Cornhuskers turned it around in the second half of 2018. Scott Frost went from 6-7 to 13-0 in Year Two at UCF. Like it or not, the Big Red is not dead (5%, 12 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
