No. 15 Washington 27, Colorado 13. Thoughts?
- The play-calling again was atrocious, and cost the Buffs a chance at a win. CU coaches squandered any chance at an upset (50%, 157 Votes)
- The Buffs played well for much of the game against a ranked team on the road. Not happy with the loss, to be sure, but there were positives to take from this game (32%, 101 Votes)
- Every CU point was scored by a true freshman, and there were (hopefully) no serious injuries. I'll take 5-2 with Oregon State up next, thank you very much! (18%, 57 Votes)

It's time! Your prediction for Colorado at No. 15 Washington ...
- I can't predict a CU victory, but I can see the Buffs keeping it reasonable, probably in the seven-to-14 point range (44%, 107 Votes)
- I fear a blowout loss. The average score of Buffs v. Huskies in the Pac-12 has been 44-13. Unfortunately, that sounds about right (38%, 94 Votes)
- Washington will be down after losing its chance at a playoff berth, and the Buffs will be looking to make up for last week. I wouldn't be surprised if the Buffs win this game! (18%, 44 Votes)

What statistic has you most concerned about the Washington game?
- That CU allowed 16 tackles for loss against USC ... and Washington has a better defense (48%, 137 Votes)
- That CU has lost to Washington in all six games as a Pac-12 member, and only once in those six games have the Buffs been within 27 points (31%, 87 Votes)
- That CU has lost 28 straight road games against ranked opponents, dating back to 2002 (14%, 39 Votes)
- That Washington is 30-7 in its last 37 games, and hasn't lost a home game since 2016 (7%, 20 Votes)

Which Pac-12 game holds the most interest for you this weekend?
- USC at Utah ... Which team will claim the title as the Pac-12 South favorite? (71%, 203 Votes)
- No. 12 Oregon at No. 25 Washington State ... Can Cougars post program-altering win with ESPN GameDay on hand to watch? (24%, 69 Votes)
- Cal at Oregon State ... Battle for the Pac-12 basement. Will Oregon State come to Boulder on a one-game win streak? (3%, 8 Votes)
- Arizona at UCLA ... With Kahlil Tate out, will Bruins raise their Pac-12 record to 2-2? (1%, 4 Votes)
- Stanford at Arizona State (Thurs.) ... Which disappointing team will post a bounce-back win? (1%, 1 Votes)
Start Date: October 17, 2018 @ 6:35 pm

Laviska Shenault listed as "day-to-day" for the Washington game
- It's okay either way. Shenault is a special talent, to be sure, but Winfree could be back, and Jaylon Jackson is ready to show his stuff. Wide receiver is the deepest position on the team (51%, 138 Votes)
- I hope that they rest him. Colorado is going to lose to Washington anyway, and I rather have him healthy for the rest of the season (27%, 73 Votes)
- I hope that he can play. It's all hands on deck for the Washington game (22%, 60 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
