Which of the other three Pac-12 games this weekend holds the most interest for you?
- California at No. 13 Oregon ... Without injured quarterback Chase Garbers, the Bears have no chance - but CU's next game is in Eugene, so the game bears watching (70%, 160 Votes)
- No. 15 Washington at Stanford ... The Huskies are big favorites over the reeling Cardinal. Stanford may be the easiest home game left on CU's schedule - is Stanford heading south? (18%, 41 Votes)
- Oregon State at UCLA ... The Bruins may be 1-4, but they are 1-1 in Pac-12 play. CU has finished last in the Pac-12 South seven of eight years. UCLA may sink to the bottom in 2019 (12%, 29 Votes)

Which stats about the Arizona Wildcats do you find most disconcerting?
- That Arizona leads the Pac-12 in rushing (255.5 yards/game) and is fifth in the nation in total offense (552.3 yards/game) (68%, 233 Votes)
- None of the above. Nothing about this game worries me. Buffs are going to roll the Wildcats! (16%, 56 Votes)
- That Arizona has held back-to-back Power Five opponents to 20 points or less for the first time since 2010, and leads the nation in interceptions, with nine (10%, 35 Votes)
- That Arizona has come back from fourth quarter deficits to win its last two games (after going 25 straight games failing to mount a fourth-quarter comeback). A confidence booster, to be sure (6%, 18 Votes)

California governor signs "Fair Pay to Play" law. Thoughts?
- The law doesn't go into effect until 2023. Here's hoping that the NCAA and lawmakers can reach a compromise by then to keep collegiate athletics competitive (59%, 189 Votes)
- This will be the death knell for competitive collegiate athletics. Think Laviska Shenault would have left Texas if he could have been paid $25K to be a "spokesman" for an Austin car dealership? (28%, 89 Votes)
- It's about time. It's only fair for college students to promote themselves and get paid. If this law had been in place for Jeremy Bloom, he could have continued playing for the Buffs (13%, 44 Votes)

Both Arizona and Colorado coaches mum on availability of star players. Thoughts?
- Not interested. We'll see soon enough who trots out onto the field after the opening kickoff. Buffs need to focus on getting better, regardless of the opposition (68%, 244 Votes)
- I like it. If Arizona isn't going to disclose if Tate and Taylor are going to play, it makes sense for CU to be coy about the availability of Shenault, Johnson and Miller (23%, 81 Votes)
- It's silly gamesmanship. The NCAA should have injury disclosure rules like the NFL, rather than playing mind games with the opposition (9%, 33 Votes)

Ohio State races to 38-0 halftime lead in 48-7 thumping of Nebraska. Thoughts?
- I love it! Nebraska got ESPN's GameDay despite the loss to CU, and was handed its hat on national television. Can't think of a more deserving program to be that embarrassed in prime time! (61%, 261 Votes)
- Nice to see the Cornhuskers get routed, but it does tend to lessen the significance of CU's win over Nebraska. It just goes to show that Nebraska should never have been ranked in the first place (35%, 150 Votes)
- I just like that Nebraska (900 wins) was blasted on the same day both Notre Dame (900) and Oklahoma (900) caught Cornhuskers on the all-time wins list. NU will soon be passed by both - deservedly so! (4%, 17 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
