At the midway point of the 2024 season, CU has a 4-2 record (same as last year). Betting $1,000 of your own dollars, CU's final regular season record will be ...
- 6-6 or 7-5. You can make an argument for CU winning every game left on the schedule, and an argument for them losing every game. I'm confident CU will win at least two or three (64%, 161 Votes)
- 8-4 or higher. Anything short of a 4-2 finish for this team will be a disappointment. Better depth, and two first round draft picks on the roster ... Buffs just need to take care of business (29%, 74 Votes)
- 4-8 or 5-7. You do remember that CU went from 4-2 to 4-8 last season, don't you? The coaching staff has a game plan which doesn't run the ball, and can't stop the run (7%, 16 Votes)

The best part of the news that Travis Hunter, Jimmy Horn, and Will Sheppard will be available this Saturday
- The ability to watch Travis Hunter - period. There are only six (hopefully seven or more) games left with Travis Hunter wearing the black-and-gold. CU fans need to savor every chance to watch him play (53%, 119 Votes)
- The impact on the defense. With CU facing one of the top wide receivers in the nation in UA's Tetairoa McMillan (T-Mac), having one of the best cornerbacks in the nation available is a must (26%, 59 Votes)
- The impact on the offense. With CU's non-existent rushing attack, being without 3-of-4 of CU's top WR's could have been disastrous (sorry to get confirmation on Omarion Miller, though) (21%, 47 Votes)

CU's Family Weekend game against Cincinnati has been set for 8:15 p.m., MT, on ESPN. Thoughts?
- I hate this. Another late, late start. Might be good for ratings, but it's terrible for the average fan, not to mention any east coast CU fans who might want to watch the game (70%, 144 Votes)
- This makes 9-for-9 for Colorado and national telecasts, besting last season's eight. For perspective: the 1990 national championship team was on national television seven times. Wow! (20%, 41 Votes)
- If I remember correctly, the Big 12 TV contracts require each team have a home game on ESPN+, so the Utah game will be ESPN+? A statement as to how far Utah has fallen, I guess (10%, 20 Votes)

CU opens as a 3.5-point road underdog to Arizona (Saturday, 2:00 p.m., MT, Fox) .Thoughts?
- If the three-point home advantage is a guide, then what I am taking from this line is that Vegas is seeing this game as a toss up ... and they are probably right (72%, 114 Votes)
- CU has two road wins this season, but this is going to be a tough environment for the Buffs. Glad the temperatures will be in the 70s instead of the 100s, but I'm surprised the line isn't higher (18%, 29 Votes)
- Like almost every line affecting the Buffs this season, the line is going to go down over the course of the week. If you want to bet the Buffs, take the points now! (10%, 16 Votes)

No. 18 Kansas State 31, Colorado 28. Thoughts?
- With the topsy turvy Big 12, the Buffs will be in every game the rest of the season. The Buffs will win some they shouldn't (Baylor) and lose some they should. Enjoy the ride! (34%, 85 Votes)
- The Buffs rallied from a two-touchdown deficit without Travis and Jimmy Horn. The Buffs showed grit, and will win plenty of games in the second half of the season (33%, 83 Votes)
- A crushing loss. To have the lead, then give up an 86-yard drive in three plays, and then not get a first down? This one will hurt for awhile (33%, 82 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
