CU: “We anticipate that only those customers who have purchased season tickets will have access to game tickets”. Thoughts?
- Makes sense. In all likelihood, there will be no full stadia this fall, so allowing season ticket holders first crack at seats is a logical approach (58%, 108 Votes)
- I'm okay with it, just as long as it isn't a ploy to get people to buy season tickets, only to end up denying them access anyway when seats are limited to students (or no one at all) (30%, 56 Votes)
- I don't like it. Not every devoted fan can afford to be a season ticket holder. There are some real fans which are being cut out ... fans which might be lost with this policy (12%, 21 Votes)

Which of the following defensive assistant coach quote gives you the most optimism about the future of the program?
- Safeties coach Brett Maxie: "If you want to play at the highest level, I can help you get there if you’re willing to do the necessary things to become an NFL player" (51%, 65 Votes)
- DL coach Chris Wilson: "We’ve just got to do like everybody else and we’ve got to work our butt off to go put a few W’s on the scoreboard" (35%, 45 Votes)
- CB coach Demetrice Martin: “I think once we get out there on the field they’ll really start to take on my personality" (14%, 17 Votes)

Sports Illustrated proposes a 120-team, 10-league realignment which would see Colorado paired with three Pac-12 schools and eight Mountain West schools. Thoughts?
- No chance. The only way this would work is if there were mandatory revenue sharing, and there is no way Alabama and Michigan are going to give Tulane and Eastern Michigan equal media paychecks (46%, 100 Votes)
- No chance. This would basically make CU, Arizona, ASU and Utah Mountain West Conference teams, with little national attention or recognition (and, BTW, no recruiting in Texas or California) (33%, 72 Votes)
- I could live it, but only if there was a guarantee that the national revenue would be evenly shared, and the conference champion had a guaranteed berth in the 12-team playoffs (18%, 38 Votes)
- I could live with it, because regional rivalries are likely the wave of the future, and CU would be a dominant program in the new conference (3%, 7 Votes)

Which of the following quotes from safeties coach Brett Maxie do you like the best?
- "If you want to play at the highest level, I can help you get there if you’re willing to do the necessary things to become an NFL player" (55%, 84 Votes)
- “They’re respectful and love football. In terms of what we do from a schematic standpoint, I can tell that they’re going to be able to pick things up fairly easy" (24%, 36 Votes)
- "We want students first, but we also want great football players. So yes, I do have that ability and I do approach it that way" (21%, 33 Votes)

Which would you prefer to see this fall from your Buffs?
- A full schedule, even if it means having no fans in the stands (55%, 114 Votes)
- At this point, I would prefer that college football (and perhaps other sports) call off the 2020 season, give every one a potential extra year of eligibility, and start over in 2021 (23%, 49 Votes)
- A post-poned or shortened season (Pac-12 games only?) if it meant that there would be the ability to have at least some fans in the stands (22%, 46 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
