NCAA votes to give spring sport athletes an additional year of eligibility. Thoughts?
- Not really a big issue for CU, since the Buffs don't have a baseball team, or a softball team, or a swim team, or a beach volleyball team, or ... (58%, 103 Votes)
- Makes sense. Spring sports had barely gotten started, so it's only fair that those athletes be given a chance to compete an extra season (28%, 50 Votes)
- Good for the athletes, but not for the schools. They are already facing huge losses from the cancellation of March Madness. This will bring about even more red ink to their budgets (14%, 25 Votes)

Which of the following quotes from new safeties coach Brett Maxie do you like the best?
- "The sleeping giant just got hired. Karl is the sleeping giant. He is committed to bringing this program back to where it needs to be" (75%, 140 Votes)
- "There's a good nucleus there and we're going to build on it ... It takes time, but we'll get them ready" (15%, 27 Votes)
- "Some guys can go get the ball in the air, some guys just have a knack for punching the ball away. Whatever it takes, just taking the ball away" (10%, 19 Votes)

Jon Wilner: HBO documentary (out March 31st) will bring about the downfall of Arizona's Sean Miller. Thoughts?
- I'll believe it when I see it. Arizona, like other blue bloods, has a way of deflecting even the most blatant rules violations. As long as Miller keeps winning, he'll keep coaching (52%, 97 Votes)
- It's about freakin' time. Hard to imagine that Miller has been allowed to coach this long. Clearly, wins are more important to Arizona than honesty and fair play (35%, 65 Votes)
- The lack of March Madness this spring - and an uncertain future - may give Arizona a chance to quietly get rid of Miller ... and find another coach who won't have any issues ignoring recruiting rules (13%, 23 Votes)

McKinley Wright declares for NBA Draft (while keeping his eligibility). Thoughts?
- I'm just glad to see the parenthetical part of the sentence. Wright needs to have a solid season in 2020-21 in order to have a chance at being drafted next year. He has no chance this year (42%, 78 Votes)
- Makes sense. Wright has NBA talent, and should explore his options. If he can make millions in this year's draft, he should go for it (36%, 67 Votes)
- Hard to think about right now. We're not even sure there will be a continuation of the NBA season ... so the draft in June is remains an unknown for all of the potential draftees (22%, 39 Votes)
Start Date: March 27, 2020 @ 6:04 pm

Which of the following quotes from Karl Dorrell's press conference do you like the best?
- "I can guarantee it's going to be a very competitive team and that I'm not going to make any excuses for the lack of time" (81%, 141 Votes)
- "We're trying to stay safe, and we're trying to do what's right and we're going to do our part. It's been challenging but I would say we've been pretty productive" (12%, 21 Votes)
- "We're going to go out there and put our best foot forward and get our team ready to play our first game when that September date hits" (7%, 13 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
