Report: Expansion to a 12-team playoff format would triple Pac-12's revenue distribution. Thoughts?
- It's a wash. Any increase in income for the Pac-12 would be an increase for every other Power Five team. The discrepancies in media revenue wouldn't change - the Pac-12 would continue to lag behind (38%, 66 Votes)
- Sounds about right. Going from a $9 million payout per school per year to $27 million would certainly help to offset the COVID-year deficits. It's a good move on multiple levels (35%, 60 Votes)
- I'm not excited about the 12-team playoff for the extra revenue for CU, I'm excited that the expansion of the playoffs would give the Buffs a legitimate path to participation in the playoffs (27%, 47 Votes)

Which quote from CU Hall of Famer Chris Naeole (OG. 1992-96) do you like the best?
- “CU just became a central part of my family ... It’s just an important part of my life — all the connections, not only on the field, but off the field" (56%, 105 Votes)
- “All the good teams, you go to their second, third-team guys, they all can start somewhere ... There were so many talented guys that iron sharpens iron" (34%, 64 Votes)
- “Every year, guys are getting drafted ... CU gave me an opportunity to stage, to pursue my dream of playing in the NFL" (10%, 17 Votes)

What do you find to be the most interesting factoid about the proposed 12-team playoff?
- That CU would have been a No. 10 seed in the 2016 playoffs, and would have traveled to Norman to face No. 7 Oklahoma (tough game - but I would have liked to see it!) (52%, 80 Votes)
- That, if Notre Dame remains independent, that even a No. 1 ranked Irish team would be ranked no higher than No. 5 in the playoffs (would not be entitled to a bye) (38%, 59 Votes)
- That in only three of the past seven seasons (had there been a 12-team playoff) would all four of the top teams been conference champions (meaning higher ranked teams could be slotted No. 5 or lower) (10%, 16 Votes)

Former CU quarterback Sam Noyer announces that he is transferring to Oregon State. Thoughts?
- Well, Noyer is from Beaverton, so he's heading home for his final season. Maybe he just wants to be closer to home ... or to try out for safety in Corvallis (45%, 74 Votes)
- I wish him well, but I don't want his return trip to Boulder on November 6th to be his Homecoming. CU has enough to worry about without having to face its former quarterback (35%, 57 Votes)
- Curious. Oregon State seems to be in a similar situation at quarterback, with last season's starter Tristan Gebbia sitting out the spring with an injury (hamstring). Is the job really open? (20%, 32 Votes)

The College Football Playoff working group formally recommends a 12-team playoff. Thoughts?
- We'll see how it plays out. Will it dilute the SEC title chase? Probably. Will it give hope to G-5 schools? Yes. At least CU now has a straight path to national relevance (46%, 103 Votes)
- I like it. It all but guarantees the Pac-12 nothing less than a home playoff game for its champion. This will help keep the Pac-12 as a player in the national conversation (36%, 79 Votes)
- Not a big fan. I would have preferred six- or eight-teams. This will seriously dilute the value of an Oregon/Ohio State September matchup. This is all about getting the SEC and Big Ten more teams in (18%, 40 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
