Which Pac-12 game (other than CU v. Oregon State) is the most interesting for you this weekend?
- No. 4 Oregon at Washington (Saturday, 5:30 p.m., MT, ABC) Oregon is No. 4 in the Playoff standings. Washington would like nothing more than to derail the Ducks' hopes (47%, 86 Votes)
- USC at Arizona State (Saturday, 8;30 p.m., MT, ESPN). This was supposed to be for the South Division title, but these teams are 6-5 in Pac-12. Last stand for Coach Herm? (30%, 54 Votes)
- Utah at Stanford (Friday, 8:30 p.m.,, MT, FS1) - The Utes control their own destiny in their quest for a Rose Bowl berth. Can they avoid a stumble at The Farm? (19%, 35 Votes)
- Cal at Arizona (Saturday, 1:00 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks). If we're being honest, this is probably Arizona's best chance at a win between now and next September (4%, 7 Votes)

Rumblings / unsubstantiated rumors that at least one other Pac-12 coach will not make it through November. Thoughts?
- Arizona State's Herm Edwards ... ASU sold their soul in exchange for a run at the Pac-12 championship and a Rose Bowl berth. With the season not working out, no reason to keep Herm (68%, 168 Votes)
- Washington's Jimmy Lake ... The Huskies were ranked No. 15 in the preseason, and promptly fell off a cliff by losing to Montana in the opener. A bad loss to Oregon this weekend? Could be the end (19%, 46 Votes)
- UCLA's Chip Kelly ... Expectations were also high in Westwood, but the Bruins are 5-4 (3-3) with almost no shot at winning the Pac-12 South. Year Four, and still no titles? Genius label is gone (9%, 23 Votes)
- Stanford's David Shaw ... You would think that Shaw is untouchable, but Stanford hasn't been Stanford. Last place in the Pac-12 South? Highest paid coach in the conference should produce more (4%, 9 Votes)

Butkus Award semi-finalist Nate Landman considered "doubtful" for Oregon State game. Thoughts?
- Critical loss. Oregon State leads the Pac-12 in rushing, and the Buffs were woeful on defense last weekend without him ... Now I understand the double-digit spread Vegas is giving this game (51%, 126 Votes)
- I just hope that Landman gets back before the end of the season. It will certainly hurt his draft stock to not be able to finish two consecutive seasons due to injury (40%, 99 Votes)
- I like Dorrell's line that Landman would play with one arm. There's still time before the game, hopefully this is just a dodge to get the Beavers not to prepare for Landman, and then unleash him (9%, 22 Votes)

Colorado opens as a 12.0-point underdog at home to Oregon State. Thoughts?
- The Beavers are 11th in the nation in rushing offense. If Nate Landman is back, I can see the Buffs keeping this close. Not predicting a CU victory, but the line is way too high (45%, 116 Votes)
- The Buffs played better last week ... and still lost by three touchdowns. Oregon State still controls its own destiny in the Pac-12 North, and will wear down the Buffs, winning going away (37%, 96 Votes)
- Oregon State has lost two of three, and has given up a minimum of 24 points to every Pac-12 opponent. Buffs will ride their new found offensive momentum to a home victory! (18%, 48 Votes)
Start Date: October 31, 2021 @ 5:13 pm

No. 7 Oregon 52, Colorado 29. Thoughts?
- While it wasn't a competitive game, there were strides made, especially on offense. We were looking for reason for some hope for November and 2022, and I think we got it (42%, 135 Votes)
- The offense improved, but the defense without Landman was inept. Oregon scored on every drive but one, and rolled to over 550 yards of total offense. CU finds another way to lose big (31%, 98 Votes)
- Nice job, Oregon. Going for a touchdown with less than a minute to go in the game. Pure class from the Ducks as they look for style points. Here's hoping there is a humbling loss in their near future (27%, 88 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
