- When asked if he's worried about living up to this hype: "Do I look like a man who worries about anything? I’m too blessed to be stressed". (17%, 88 Votes)
- When Sanders pointed out his son, Shedeur, in the crowd and says to everyone assembled "This is your quarterback" (13%, 64 Votes)

CU announces that Deion Sanders has been hired as the new head coach at the University of Colorado. Thoughts!
- This might be the best day for the Buff Nation in the past 20 years. Welcome, Prime Time, to CU! I am so excited about the future of the program ... words I thought I would never say again (61%, 299 Votes)
- Just like a kid opening presents at Christmas, I'm already moving on ... Who will the assistants be? How many high quality transfers and recruits will Coach Prime bring in? (26%, 126 Votes)
- I'm still pinching myself - it's still too hard to believe. I guess we'll sort out later how Sanders will be able to handle his first job as a Power Five coach. In Deion we trust ... (13%, 64 Votes)

When will the hiring of Deion Sanders as CU's next head coach be "real" for you?
- When I see Deion step at the microphone at his introductory press conference, wearing a stylish CU hat (62%, 92 Votes)
- It's already real. With all of the leaks by the media, potential recruits, and potential new coaches, it's been real for me for the last day or two. Relax, people - CU didn't screw this up! (20%, 30 Votes)
- Not until we get confirmation late Sunday morning, after the Board of Regents has met, confirming the Board has voted to approve the Sanders contract (15%, 22 Votes)
- When there is confirmation that Deion has safely landed in Boulder late Saturday night, with CU athletic director Rick George tucking him in for the night (3%, 5 Votes)

Jeremy Dougherty launches Reimagine Athletics, Inc., a 501(c)(3) with a goal of raising $150 million to support CU athletics. Thoughts?
- This is taking on the look of one of the best weeks in CU sports history. If Deion Sanders comes to Boulder, and this NIL project takes off, the sky is the limit for CU athletics! (46%, 135 Votes)
- I applaud the effort, but, just as was the case with the Buffs4Life NIL, it's short on details. I would be more impressed if Dougherty had announced he already had $10-$20 million in commitments (39%, 116 Votes)
- Not impressed. This is basically an oversized GoFundMe campaign. If CU at the Game had asked for $150 million last spring, instead of $10,000, we'd already be swimming in dough. Color me non-plussed (15%, 43 Votes)

The final countdown to CU's next head coach has begun. How often are you checking in on websites, message boards, Twitter, etc., for new information?
- Several times a day, because the hiring of Deion Sanders would be a game-changer for CU, and I'm still having trouble believing it will happen (49%, 180 Votes)
- Hard to admit, but since this is anonymous ... I am checking in ALL the time. Right now, no news is good news, and I feel compelled to keep updated (26%, 96 Votes)
- Maybe once a day, but I'm not really paying much attention. By Saturday - or maybe Sunday - we'll have our answer. Once we have our new coach (whoever it is), we can start working on 2023 (25%, 88 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
