ESPN has Karl Dorrell as one of its two Pac-12 coaches entering the 2022 season on the "hot seat". Do you agree?
- Too early to tell. The roster isn't yet set, and we don't know what the new offense will look like. CU can't afford to buy out another coach, but there does need to be some signs of progress (38%, 134 Votes)
- Not really. There will be additional pressure to win, but with a fresh set of coaches and a tough schedule, CU will really have to crater for Dorrell to be let go (38%, 132 Votes)
- Definitely. You don't go from 4-2 to 4-8 and lose a half dozen starters without facing extra scrutiny. Dorrell has his players and his coaches - time to produce (24%, 85 Votes)

CU men's and women's basketball teams go 0-4 over the weekend. Thoughts?
- Three of the four losses were to nationally ranked teams, with the fourth one an overtime loss on the road. Tough weekend, to be sure, but not time to panic - at least not yet (47%, 95 Votes)
- I have more faith in the women's team, actually. The men's team is just too young to be consistent winners, while the women's team has better balance (and some more winnable games coming) (28%, 57 Votes)
- This is what the next few months will look like. Tad Boyle's team has a low ceiling this year, and the women's team has gone from 13-0 to 13-4. A lot more "L's" coming for both teams (25%, 51 Votes)

Rate your level of concern about the current state of flux in the CU roster?
- High. CU has lost a half dozen starters - including a captain. There aren't enough quality proven players left on the roster to be excited about the 2022 season (47%, 143 Votes)
- Medium. CU has lost some good players, but seems to be replacing them with quality players. Still some work to do before next season to fill holes, but I am cautiously optimistic (36%, 110 Votes)
- Low. There needed to be some serious attrition just to keep the roster close to the 85-man limit, and most of the lost players will never play for a Power Five school again (17%, 49 Votes)

If you were contacted about contributing to a CU NIL fund or event, what would your reaction be?
- It would depend on the event/business opportunity. I'm not opposed to assisting players, but I'm not prepared to just write a check - I'd like to know that I'm getting the best bang for the buck (40%, 83 Votes)
- Sorry, but I'm not going to participate. Various reasons: a) no funds to assist; b) opposed on principle to paying for pay; c) other (39%, 82 Votes)
- I'm in! I'm waiting for some booster or business to set up an NIL account which can be used to assist CU student-athletes ... and hopefully improve the quality of CU's rosters as a result (21%, 44 Votes)

Which to you represents the most interesting news story of the day?
- That CU picked up Alabama offensive lineman Tommy Brown. Two years of eligibility for a player which CU can plug-and-play. Welcome, Mr. Brown, to the black-and-gold! (73%, 226 Votes)
- That CU has set up the "Buffs NIL Exchange". Better late than never. Hopefully, this will help CU begin to compete in the new age of NIL. Baby steps, to be sure, but at steps in the right direction (24%, 75 Votes)
- That the NCAA has adopted a new constitution. There are still loopholes you can drive a truck through, but, like the creation of CU's NIL Exchange, baby steps are better than none (3%, 7 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
