It's time! Your prediction for Colorado at Arizona State (Sat., 8:30 p.m., MT, ESPNU)
- U-G-L-Y ... A motivated ASU team v. a Colorado team which has far more questions than answers. Buff fans won't have to stay up late for this one. Sun Devils in a rout (53%, 157 Votes)
- I may be wearing black-and-gold glasses here, but CU is 2-0 against Herm Edwards, and has won its last two road games in Arizona. Buffs surprise everyone (including themselves) and pull off the upset! (24%, 71 Votes)
- I can see this one playing out the way it probably would have been forecast a month ago. The Buffs will hang tough, but it will be a close loss in the desert (23%, 70 Votes)

The Pac-12 is 16-16 in non-conference games, flirting with a losing record outside the conference for the first time ever. Which justification rings most true?
- Quarterback Chaos: Pac-12 teams are going through quarterbacks like candy, while California prep QB's are starting for Ohio State, Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma and Clemson (66%, 133 Votes)
- Group of Five opponents are not created equal: the Mountain West has produced 50% more NFL Draft selections than each of the Sun Belt, MAC and CUSA over the past five years (24%, 49 Votes)
- Behind the curve because of COVID: The Pac-12 is losing to Mountain West teams and other Group of Five schools - They had full 2020 seasons; the Pac-12 did not (10%, 19 Votes)
Start Date: September 23, 2021 @ 4:39 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Which of the Pac-12 double-digit underdogs (not wearing black-and-gold) do you think has the best chance at an upset this weekend?
- Washington State (+14) at Utah ... How much enthusiasm is there in the Ute locker room after back-to-back losses and a savior quarterback who quits the team? (70%, 185 Votes)
- Oregon State (+12) at USC ... The Trojan quarterback situation remains unsettled (backup wiz Dart injured; Slovis back with first team), and it would be easy for the Trojans to underestimate the Beavs (29%, 76 Votes)
- Arizona (+27) at No. 3 Oregon ... Hey, the Ducks were only ahead of the Stony Brook Seawolves 17-7 at halftime last weekend, so anything can happen (1%, 4 Votes)
Start Date: September 22, 2021 @ 4:22 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Which news story of the day to you was the most "eyebrow raising"?
- That Utah quarterback Charlie Brewer left the team. A four-year starter at Baylor, Brewer was supposed to be the answer to the Utes' QB problems. Three games in ... guess not (35%, 109 Votes)
- That CU picked up a commitment from a three-star linebacker from Arizona, Shakaun Bowser. Considering CU's last game, it's all the more special that this well-regarded prospect committed (33%, 103 Votes)
- That Kansas City offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is willing to listen to overtures for the USC head coaching job. Bieniemy wasn't interested in coaching his alma mater ... hmmm (32%, 101 Votes)
Start Date: September 21, 2021 @ 5:46 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Which quote from Karl Dorrell's Monday press conference stands out the most to you?
- None of the above. No coaching changes. Nothing other than saying he'll poke his head into the offensive staff meetings. No changes = No improvement. What the Hell? (71%, 256 Votes)
- "Sometimes it takes something like (the Minnesota game) to get the wake-up call you need. Their body of work up until this point has been pretty solid" (14%, 52 Votes)
- "I get where the fans are and I am disappointed. It is not a good look for us. I was able to wake up Sunday and get back to work" (10%, 37 Votes)
- On Brendon Lewis: "He is a very competitive kid ... He knows the expectations are always going to be high. But he doesn't lack any confidence" (5%, 16 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
