What to you would constitute the "biggest recruiting weekend in CU history", as Coach Prime as promised?
- I'm just hopeful that the momentum will continue. It's asking a lot to get a huge class in two weeks, with one of those spent in Jackson. I just want enough commits to show CU is for real (52%, 156 Votes)
- After all the hype, it would probably take at least four four-star recruits, together with QB Shedeur Sanders and last year's No. 1 overall recruit, Travis Hunter. That would be huge! (41%, 123 Votes)
- Considering the 12 de-commitments and the 12 or so players who have entered the Transfer Portal, it honestly wouldn't take much to improve CU's list, so the bar for the "biggest weekend" is low (7%, 22 Votes)

Ryan Walters becomes just the second former Buff (Jon Embree) to be named head coach at a Power Five school. Thoughts?
- This could be a win/win for CU fans. If Coach Prime is successful - and leaves after a few years - Coach Walters may be seasoned enough (and successful enough) to be lured back to Boulder (59%, 203 Votes)
- Great news for Ryan and for CU! I hope he does well at Purdue - he's given me a second black-and-gold team to cheer for! (37%, 128 Votes)
- It will be interesting to see how this works out. Walters was a rumored candidate for the CU job ... how will Buff fans feel if Walters fares better than Coach Prime? (4%, 14 Votes)

What are your plans for what Coach Prime believes may be "the greatest recruiting weekend in CU history"?
- Refresh ... Refresh ... Refresh ... The recruiting services are indicating that there may be over 20 official visitors, many of whom would be the highest-rated member of many CU Classes. I'm pumped! (44%, 177 Votes)
- I'll check in several times a day for updates, after checking in on Jackson State's final game of course (v. North Carolina Central, 10:00 a.m., MT, Saturday, ABC) (33%, 131 Votes)
- I'll wait until Sunday night or Monday morning, planning on being overwhelmed with joy when I get to read up on all of the new commitments at once (23%, 90 Votes)
Start Date: December 14, 2022 @ 5:20 pm

Which of the following quotes from Michael Westbrook about Coach Prime has you the most excited about CU football going forward?
- "He made everything look simple but it was because he invested everything he had in the game. I can't imagine he will do anything different at Colorado" (61%, 195 Votes)
- "His brain is on 'easy mode.' What is calculus or quantitative physics for some people is simple addition for him. He knows what he's doing" (23%, 72 Votes)
- "Personally, I'm hoping for seven, eight wins his first year ... There are a lot of ranked teams in there and they will have to beat some of them" (16%, 51 Votes)
Start Date: December 13, 2022 @ 5:43 pm
End Date: No Expiry
With the addition of Maddox Kopp, CU now has three quarterbacks in the Transfer Portal. Concerned?
- No, not yet. I am assuming that Coach Prime understands the importance of the quarterback position, and will not want to be caught short if his son gets hurt. Ask again in May after the dust settles (69%, 286 Votes)
- No. CU still has J.T. Shrout on the roster, along with sophomore Drew Carter and incoming freshman Ryan Straub. Even if Sanders gets hurt, there are other options still available (27%, 111 Votes)
- Yes. The existing roster can see that Shedeur Sanders will be the starter for the next two seasons, and want to play elsewhere. That's all fine and good until Shedeur gets hurt ... (4%, 16 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
