CU Athletic Director Rick George asks fans to refrain from rushing the field. Thoughts?
- Rick should have saved the speech for the Stanford game. If CU beats USC for the first time in history, not only will the students rush the field ... I'll be joining them!! (70%, 181 Votes)
- I agree with Rick when he said many schools and conferences are cracking down on the practice, and rushing the field is in violation of University and Pac-12 policies. It should end (16%, 40 Votes)
- Folsom Field, with its runway from the student section to the field, is never going to be able to prevent rushing the field. Let the students have their fun - who has ever actually been hurt? (14%, 36 Votes)

Which of the following Pac-12 games this weekend for you holds the most interest?
- No. 10 Utah at No. 19 Oregon State (Friday, 7:00 p.m., MT, FS1). How many times is an undefeated Top Ten team going to be listed as an underdog? Is Oregon State for real, or sliding to the middle? (80%, 181 Votes)
- Arizona State at Cal (Saturday, 1:00 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks). The Sun Devils are the Buffs' next opponent, and just entered the CBS Bottom 25. Is ASU a legit threat to beat Cal (and CU)? (13%, 29 Votes)
- No. 7 Washington at Arizona (Saturday, 8:00 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks). The Huskies have yet to be challenged, and the Wildcats are 3-1 ... which team will be exposed After Dark this Saturday? (7%, 15 Votes)

What do you make of the CU/Oregon television ratings: 10.3 million - the most for any college football game this season?
- What surprised me was that more people were watching a boring CU/Oregon game than watched a prime time Top Ten matchup between Notre Dame and Ohio State, which went down to the last play (52%, 120 Votes)
- I'm just interested to see what happens when CU plays ASU next weekend on the Pac-12 Networks. How many casual fans will be able to find the game? Will Coach Prime break the network? (30%, 68 Votes)
- What surprised me is that CU/Oregon went head-to-head with two other ranked matchups, and destroyed Alabama/Ole Miss (4.6M) and Utah/UCLA (1.3M), even though both were better games (18%, 42 Votes)

The kickoff for Colorado at Arizona State has been set (next Saturday, 4:30 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks). Thoughts?
- It is just me, or is anyone else amazed that this is CU's first Pac-12 Network game, after pretty much being the standard bearer for the Network That No One Watches for the past decade? (45%, 97 Votes)
- I like it. Buffs get to avoid a Pac-12 After Dark game which doesn't end until after midnight (and it doesn't hurt to start to look forward to a game for which CU won't be a three-TD underdog) (42%, 91 Votes)
- Not a fan. There is a reason why there is a prohibition on day games for Arizona and ASU in September. Is it too early to start worrying about the temperature at kickoff? (13%, 29 Votes)
Start Date: September 25, 2023 @ 4:35 pm

Buffs open as a 23.0-point underdog to No. 8 USC (Saturday, 10:00 a.m., MT, Fox). Thoughts?
- I'm just interested in getting through a week of "CU has never beaten USC", and another big loss, and moving on to games the Buffs have a chance at winning (40%, 118 Votes)
- Kind of surprised that the line isn't higher, to be honest. USC is leading the nation in scoring (55.0 points/game) and the Buff defense was just shredded by Oregon. This could be an ugly game (32%, 95 Votes)
- Not too afraid. The Trojans were 34-point favorites over Arizona State, and came up 20 points short of covering. Perhaps the same will happen this weekend (28%, 84 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
