One week out from the start of spring practices. What is your level of excitement to see spring ball get underway?
- High. It's been a amazing few months with Coach Prime, and this is the first time the new Buffs will be on the field. I can't wait for CU to take the field this spring! (77%, 186 Votes)
- Medium. It will be fun to read reports about how spring practice is going, and which players are making an impression. I am looking forward to getting the Coach Prime era underway (18%, 44 Votes)
- Low. As Allen Iverson said, "We talkin' about practice!". Other than Coach Prime videos, there will be little news. Glad to see the Buffs get the pads on, but it's still just spring ball (5%, 11 Votes)

CU's inside linebacker corps has a total of six career starts. An area of concern?
- We'll see. It may be that there are other potential transfers out there. Not having any starting experience of note in ten scholarship linebackers is not a good look (44%, 80 Votes)
- No. In Coach Prime we trust. Two Power Five transfers and three quality freshmen are on the way. Like the rest of the team, this unit will pleasantly surprise (36%, 65 Votes)
- Yes. Josh Chandler-Semedo and Quinn Perry were No. 1 and No. 3 in tackles last season, and there are no experienced backups. Until further notice, these positions bear watching (20%, 38 Votes)

If offered, should the 17-16 CU men's team accept a bid to a lower division post-season tournament?
- Yes. If the NIT or another post-season tournament come calling, the Buffs should accept. This is a young team, and it can use all the extra practices and games it can get (50%, 136 Votes)
- Depends. If it's the NIT (unlikely) I would take the bid. If it's anything lower than the NIT, it's time to pack it in and call it a season (46%, 123 Votes)
- No. The Buffs are 17-16, and a post-season loss against a lesser team (remember the CB1 loss to Seattle University?) would end the season on a sour note. Take the winning record and call it good (4%, 11 Votes)

Pac-12 average attendance in 2022 the second-lowest in conference history. Thoughts?
- It just goes to show how loyal CU fans have been, even through some very bad years. CU continues to draw its fans ... and now sellouts are going to be the norm (50%, 93 Votes)
- I just hope the Pac-12 powers that be are paying attention. If the Pac-12 signs a media deal with even less national access to conference games, attendance will continue to decline (31%, 58 Votes)
- That's what happens when you don't have nationally relevant programs. Without a title contender, attention - and attendance - declines ... and it's not likely to get better after USC and UCLA go (19%, 34 Votes)

Should Travis Hunter play wide receiver as well as cornerback?
- Maybe ... I can see CU using Hunter in certain packages, but Coach Prime just signed eight wide receivers (the most in a Class). Perhaps CU should focus on using the wide receivers they have (58%, 165 Votes)
- Yes. Hunter proved at Jackson State he can excel at both positions. As CB Coach Mathis put it: “Travis is a unique player and he has great skills. His competitiveness is out the door" (30%, 84 Votes)
- No. Hunter has the potential to be the best cornerback in the nation, and a high first-round draft pick in two years. He should focus on honing his CB skills for the NFL (12%, 34 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
