CU picks up commitments from two graduate transfer defensive linemen, Taylor Upshaw (Michigan) and Jordan Domineck (Arkansas). Thoughts?
- Love these commitments! The pair, with neither playing full time, had a combined 9.5 sacks last year playing for Power Five conference schools. CU as a team had 9.0. 'Nuff said! (52%, 154 Votes)
- I just like to see that the coaching staff under Coach Prime has been good at identifying the weakest units on the team, and addressing those issues. Welcome, Mr. Upshaw and Mr. Domineck, to CU! (37%, 109 Votes)
- Glad to get these commitments, but we have been waiting for 1/15 for weeks. Wasn't this supposed to be the day Cormani McClain committed? On campus, but no commitment? Disappointed (for now) (11%, 35 Votes)

The CU women's basketball team is 14-3, 5-1, in second place in the Pac-12, with two straight wins over ranked teams. Rate your interest level
- Medium. Yes, I'm checking out the scores after the games, and will get interested come tournament time, but for now, I'm more interested in men's basketball and football commitments (36%, 79 Votes)
- High! In the latest ESPN bracketology, CU was listed as a No. 8 seed (and that was before Friday's win over No. 14 Arizona). Enjoying the ride - and I'll continue to watch! (35%, 77 Votes)
- Low. Sure, I'm happy for the success of the women's team, but if I'm being honest, I won't pay much attention until March Madness kicks in (29%, 64 Votes)

CU has been making national news almost daily under Coach Prime. Are you enjoying having "CU in the Spotlight"?
- Hell, yes. After almost two decades of wandering in the desert, the Buffs are back to being relevant. Three cheers for Coach Prime for bringing CU back to life! (69%, 226 Votes)
- Coach Prime is not going to change, and CU is all in on Coach Prime. Let's just enjoy the ride ... and see how it works out this fall. If CU goes bowling this fall, it's all good (30%, 97 Votes)
- I'm certainly a supporter of Coach Prime, but the idea of there being no such thing as bad publicity doesn't apply here. Coach Prime being over the top all the time could backfire (1%, 5 Votes)

The Athletic: "Winning some games would represent huge progress. Making a bowl would be a tremendous achievement. Anything beyond that is gravy"
- It's still way too early to tell. Let's see how the roster plays out, and how spring ball plays out, before talking about a prediction for CU's record this fall (49%, 149 Votes)
- Sounds about right. Buff fans need to be realistic about turning around the Titanic which is the CU program. With the schedule CU has to play, 4-5 wins would be a significant achievement in '23 (31%, 95 Votes)
- Outsiders don't seem to understand that Coach Prime & Co. are coming in to win, and win now. A bowl game this season is CU's floor, not its ceiling. Buffs are coming! (20%, 62 Votes)

CU receives a commitment from graduate transfer running back Kavosiey Smoke from Kentucky. Thoughts?
- Love it ... CU has some good but not great backs on the roster, plus a four-star incoming freshman. An experienced big back from the SEC is a very welcome addition (46%, 154 Votes)
- A running back named Smoke? Sounds like a Coach Prime player. Smoke is a graduate transfer trying to make it to the league, so he'll be well motivated to have an immediate impact (28%, 94 Votes)
- It's fine, but Coach Prime & Co. are still not getting the edge rushers and the lineman on both sides of the ball which are CU's most important needs (26%, 84 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
