Colorado MBB picked third in Pac-12 media poll
- About right. It's been over 40 years since CU has finished 5th or better in conference play four straight years, so I'll take No. 3 (69%, 150 Votes)
- Too low. Arizona looks like the best team, but CU is clearly No. 2 (19%, 42 Votes)
- Maybe a spot or two too high. Buffs lost Roberson, are still young ... and the Pac-12 is loaded (12%, 24 Votes)

My estimate for the attendance at the CU/CSU game
- 30,000 - 35,000 - It'll be about the same as the crowd for the Central Arkansas game (42%, 97 Votes)
- 25,000 - 30,000 - Depends on how many students can get there for a noon start (28%, 64 Votes)
- Less than 25,000 - smallest home crowd in over 30 years (16%, 38 Votes)
- More than 35,000 - Good weather + good chance at a win = decent crowd (14%, 32 Votes)

Colorado a 31-point favorite over Charleston-Southern
- Way too high. Buffs will have trouble scoring 31 points, much less winning by that margin (74%, 164 Votes)
- Buffs should get close to that number. The Buccaneers may be 7-0, but against very weak competition. Buffs should dominate. (24%, 53 Votes)
- Too low. Buffs take out their frustration with a huge win! (2%, 5 Votes)
Start Date: October 15, 2013 @ 12:29 pm
End Date: No Expiry
First impression, CU vs. Charleston-Southern ...
- Somewhat concerned. I think the Buffs will win, but right now, there are no easy games (61%, 168 Votes)
- Very concerned. The way the Buffs have played the last three games, I'm worried that they are vulnerable to defeat (22%, 61 Votes)
- Not too concerned. Yes, CSU is a good FCS team, but Buffs will respond and take care of business (17%, 47 Votes)
Start Date: October 14, 2013 @ 1:00 pm
End Date: No Expiry
My thoughts on the status of the CU football program ...
- It's better. It will take time to see results, but these coaches will turn the Buffs around (58%, 155 Votes)
- About the same as before. Buffs have improved in some areas, but not in others (37%, 98 Votes)
- It's worse. No improvement - just a continuation of the worst season in program history (5%, 12 Votes)
Start Date: October 13, 2013 @ 3:47 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
