My thoughts on the punishment given to Miami ...
- Not enough, and WAY too long in coming. NCAA not giving any disincentives to cheats (71%, 154 Votes)
- Don't really care. If it's not CU or a Pac-12 team, it's not on my radar (24%, 51 Votes)
- Too much, especially when compared to what the NCAA gave out to Oregon and USC for their "transgressions" (5%, 11 Votes)

CU is a 15.5 point underdog at home to Arizona. My take:
- About right. Buffs will make a game of it, but I can see the Wildcats pulling away late (42%, 106 Votes)
- Too high. A black-out Saturday night! Better crowd, amped up team - game will be close (36%, 91 Votes)
- Too low. Ka'Deem Carey went for 366 yards last year, and the CU defense is still porous (22%, 57 Votes)

CU is 3-3 at the midway point. CU's final record
- 4-8. Cal the best chance to avoid the Pac-12 cellar this season (45%, 121 Votes)
- 5-7. I can see beating Cal, and one of the following: Arizona; USC or Utah. (35%, 92 Votes)
- 6-6 or better ... and a bowl game! (11%, 30 Votes)
- 3-9. CU has a school-record 10 straight conference losses. Buffs likely to keep extending the streak (9%, 23 Votes)

CU takes out Charleston Southern, 43-10. My grade ...
- B ... Freshmen Liufau and Adkins did well . Much better effort in the second half. (60%, 199 Votes)
- C ... Not as dominating an effort as I would have liked, but I'll take 3-3. (23%, 75 Votes)
- A ... A 33-point victory over a ranked FCS team! Well done, Buffs! (13%, 43 Votes)
- D ... Two nine-minute drives? It will be an ugly second half to the season (4%, 14 Votes)
Start Date: October 19, 2013 @ 3:02 pm

CU looking to avoid FCS opponents in future scheduling ...
- I'm okay with FCS opponents for now. A necessity this year, but let's not make a habit of this. (51%, 96 Votes)
- Agree. Leave the cupcakes to K-State. Strength of schedule is going to be more and more important over time (36%, 69 Votes)
- Disagree. It's a win/win - CU can pick up a victory / FCS team picks up a check (13%, 25 Votes)
Start Date: October 18, 2013 @ 1:01 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
