CU is No. 26 in national recruiting rankings. Predict the Signing Day ranking:
- Between 26 and 40. It will be a large Class, which will help CU's overall ranking (60%, 176 Votes)
- Top 25. Once the Buffs start winning on the field this fall, the Class will even get better (26%, 75 Votes)
- Outside the top 40. CU has the second-most Pac-12 commits so far. The ranking will slip with time (14%, 42 Votes)

Men's basketball to open Pac-12 play on the road against Utah/Arizona schools
- Excuse me ... Fall Camp opens next week - and you're asking a basketball question?? (49%, 101 Votes)
- Love it! Chance to post an early road upset, plus five of final seven games at home (26%, 54 Votes)
- Hate it! Young Buffs could open league play 0-3 ... and they might not be able to recover (25%, 53 Votes)

Thoughts on CU's latest recruit, offensive lineman William Sherman
- Great news! A star player for one of the best teams in Texas. A strong pickup for the Buffs! (67%, 215 Votes)
- Like him. Glad to get a three-star offensive lineman (with Power-Five offers) into the fold (30%, 97 Votes)
- Unsure. It's hard to judge offensive linemen ... I'll trust the coaches on this one (3%, 11 Votes)

Which new recruit has the bigger upside?
- Cornerback Morrell Osling - Great athlete (nationally ranked track star). Smart, versatile ... a star-in-the-making (50%, 131 Votes)
- Neither. I hate to be a contrarian, but both seem like reaches to me. I'd rather have recruits with better offer sheets (32%, 85 Votes)
- Defensive end Shamar Hamilton - Good size and speed, with only two years of experience. He has tremendous potential as a pass rusher (18%, 47 Votes)
Start Date: July 25, 2016 @ 6:32 pm

Buffs pick up two commits during its 2nd-annual barbecue
- Like it. Players in positions of need, but I'm concerned by the lack of Power-Five offers (45%, 143 Votes)
- Not real excited. The trend - four of the last five commits have been two-stars or less - is disconcerting (36%, 115 Votes)
- Love it! A much-needed rush end and a multi-talented cornerback. Well done, Buffs! (19%, 59 Votes)
Start Date: July 24, 2016 @ 6:28 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
