My biggest concern about the CU secondary
- None of the above. The secondary is the strength of defense (60%, 106 Votes)
- The Buffs will likely be forced to play a true freshman (or two) (24%, 43 Votes)
- The unit is over-rated ... 59th in pass defense last year (and lost a four-year starter in Ken Crawley) (11%, 20 Votes)
- The inexperience of sophomore Isaiah Oliver will be exposed (5%, 9 Votes)

If a Power-Five school were to jump to the Big 12, it would be
- Nebraska - Huskers haven't really been the Huskers since joining the Big Ten (46%, 132 Votes)
- Missouri - The Tigers are just a better fit in the Big 12 (44%, 127 Votes)
- CU - When four 16-team conferences are created, Buffs get traded back (8%, 23 Votes)
- UCLA - If Rick Neuheisel says it could happen, who knows? (2%, 6 Votes)

Bobby Pesavento says CU in '16 like CU in '01. Level of agreement:
- Medium. I would like to believe, but until that "signature win" comes along, I'm skeptical (60%, 162 Votes)
- Low. Reality check: 2001 team had 11 future NFL picks. CU has had ten NFL picks ... in the last seven years (25%, 67 Votes)
- High. All trends are (for once) pointed in positive directions. (15%, 39 Votes)

Thoughts on latest news on Big 12 expansion
- It's just the latest (inevitable) step towards four 16-team conferences (38%, 80 Votes)
- it just bugs me that we'll now have to endure more (inane) stories about how great a fit CSU would be in the Big 12 (37%, 79 Votes)
- Much ado about nothing. Big 12 will talk, talk, and then talk some more. Expansion is years away (25%, 53 Votes)

Dino Gordon and N.J. Falo received deferred sentences. Their CU punishment?
- Doesn't matter what I - or Coach Mac - does. The CU Judicial Affairs Board will bring down the hammer (54%, 148 Votes)
- "Internal" punishment. That's all they would get anywhere else (25%, 68 Votes)
- One to three non-conference games. After all, they did plead guilty to a felony (21%, 60 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
