Should CU take a break from the basketball series v. CSU?
- Wouldn't mind, except that CU has lost 3-of-4 against CSU - makes it look like the Buffs are running scared (43%, 83 Votes)
- No. One of the few games in the non-conference schedule which has a big crowd is CSU (41%, 79 Votes)
- Yes. Any chance CU has to keep little brother from being on an equal footing (16%, 32 Votes)

ESPN's FPI Index has CU ranked No. 11 in the Pac-12
- Not news. Just another of what will be a long string of negative national stories about the Buffs this spring/summer (56%, 110 Votes)
- About right ... unfortunately. Buffs have a lot to prove this fall (26%, 51 Votes)
- An absurd ranking. FPI ratings are about as easy to decipher as quarterback rankings - and about as useful (18%, 36 Votes)

How would you rate the CU linebackers?
- Cautiously optimistic ... There seems to be a good mix of talent, but we don't know if the lineup will be able to compete in the Pac-12 (55%, 106 Votes)
- Confident ... Two 100+ tacklers return, supplemented with very good talent (22%, 43 Votes)
- Concerned ... Gamboa and Lewis are not Pac-12 stars, and they are the only returning players with any significant experience (23%, 43 Votes)

CU picks up commitment from Jakub Dombek
- Good news. Like the size (and the four years of eligibility), but we'll see how talented Dombek turns out to be (57%, 100 Votes)
- Not news. Looks like a project. Why can't CU compete for in-country talented big men? (23%, 40 Votes)
- Great news! What the Buffs needed most was a big man to replace Tory Miller-Stewart (20%, 35 Votes)
Start Date: April 3, 2018 @ 7:11 pm

Sophomore LB Dante Sparaco to transfer
- Somewhat concerned. A former IMG standout, I had great hopes for Sparaco (51%, 139 Votes)
- Not concerned. Even when CU was desperate for LB help last fall, Sparaco was only on the field for 32 plays (31%, 85 Votes)
- Very concerned. CU was already thin at linebacker, and can't afford to lose any talent. Not a good sign (18%, 46 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
