Tad Boyle's Buffs are 14-9, 5-6, with seven Pac-12 games to play. Your prediction?
- The Buffs are playing well, but still have games against the Arizona schools and then Washington on the road. A 4-3 finish, and a 9-9 Pac-12 record would be a nice finish after a 2-6 start (67%, 184 Votes)
- I'm still a skeptic. Buffs don't tend to play well against the Arizona schools, Washington, and Utah. Hope for the best ... expect the worst (17%, 47 Votes)
- The Buffs are on a three game roll, with five of the next seven games at home. I can see the Buffs finishing in the top four of the conference, with a bye in the Pac-12 tournament (16%, 45 Votes)

What will you be looking for most from the wide receiver corps during spring practices?
- In the absence of the former coaching staff, will tight ends actually be thrown a pass or two? (62%, 145 Votes)
- In the absence of Laviska Shenault, will one or more of the underclassmen make statements that they are ready to be primary threats? (24%, 55 Votes)
- In the absence of Laviska Shenault, will upperclassmen Tony Brown and K.D. Nixon make statements that they are ready to be primary threats? (14%, 34 Votes)

Buffs look good in posting wins over Oregon and UCLA. Thoughts?
- An indication of what the Buffs are capable of - I hope that the Buffs have found their groove, and can continue with that style of play in the second half of Pac-12 play (42%, 84 Votes)
- A surprise. It gives me hope for the future, as all of this team will be back next year (plus Dallas Walton et al.). This year's chance at an NCAA bid is gone, but I am optimistic about 2019-20 (41%, 81 Votes)
- An anomaly. As soon as the Buffs get our hopes up, they dash them again. Just wait ... (17%, 35 Votes)

Which Mel Tucker Signing Day quote do you find most encouraging?
- "We’re always going to have big guys in the trenches, on offense and defense. We’re never going to be short in that department" (42%, 135 Votes)
- "You can’t take a break. There’s no such as an offseason, it’s really an out-of-season. That’s the way we approach it" (26%, 82 Votes)
- "Whether they’re a 1-star or a 5-star, when they get here, all those stars go away. It’s not going to be about that. It’s going to be about – what can you do to help our football team" (25%, 79 Votes)
- “I think we have to trust our process. We have great coaches and great recruiters here that know how to evaluate talent" (7%, 24 Votes)

What grade would you assign to the CU Recruiting Class of 2019?
- A B ... A strong class overall - especially along the lines - but I'll be interested to see if the 2020 Class if a significant upgrade (65%, 303 Votes)
- An A ... Considering the time limitations, what Tucker & Co. have accomplished in their first two months on the job is nothing short of amazing (17%, 78 Votes)
- A C ... There are some quality prospects, but there are some reaches as well. A Class made up predominantly of "diamonds in the rough" won't win many championships (16%, 74 Votes)
- A D ... The Buffs are in the bottom half of the Pac-12 (again). I know the staff didn't have much time, but I was expecting better results in the February Signing Day (2%, 13 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
