The Colorado defensive line in 2018 will be ...
- A weakness ... but at least improvements in coaching and personnel are on the way (68%, 168 Votes)
- A strength. Edwards and Mulumba will be seniors, and will be joined by talented newcomers (19%, 46 Votes)
- A weakness. The worst unit on the team has much to work on to achieve even mediocre Pac-12 status (13%, 34 Votes)

Buffs fall to No. 21 Arizona State, 80-66. Thoughts?
- The next three games are at home ... we'll see how the Buffs respond before giving up on the season (56%, 108 Votes)
- The Buffs hung tough for most of the game. Another teaching moment for these young Buffs which will pay off down the road (27%, 51 Votes)
- Three straight losses have wiped out any momentum gained. Season over ... it's time to talk about how long Boyle will be at CU (17%, 33 Votes)

The Colorado offensive line in 2018 will be ...
- A question mark ... at least until the health and quality of potential starters are determined (75%, 156 Votes)
- A strength. Three returning starters, and three young four-star prospects ... I'm optimistic (16%, 34 Votes)
- A weakness. The line took a step back in 2017 ... and loses three starters. (9%, 19 Votes)

Buffs fall on the road to No. 11 Arizona, 80-71. Thoughts?
- Considering that most of us thought the Buffs would be blown out - not bad. These young Buffs are showing continued improvement (75%, 162 Votes)
- A loss is a loss is a loss. Colorado is 12-9, 4-5 ... the record speaks for itself (21%, 45 Votes)
- I'm just glad that it was close late, so Sean Miller didn't have a chance to call a late time out to show up the Buffs (4%, 10 Votes)
Start Date: January 25, 2018 @ 9:35 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Grade CU's three new assistant coach hires
- B ... No "splash" hires, but all three appear to be upgrades from last year's staff (54%, 166 Votes)
- C ... We'll see. IF Roper can help Montez, and IF Drake can get the D-Line to improve ... I'll be satisfied (30%, 92 Votes)
- A ... Ambrose (CB's), Roper (QB's) and Drake (DL) are all quality hires (11%, 35 Votes)
- D ... No indication that CU had to fight off any competition for these hires (5%, 13 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
