What would be your expectations from the new coach in 2019?
- A bowl game in season one. A winning season every needs to become the new baseline for success, and CU can build from there (53%, 183 Votes)
- An efficient offense and a stalwart defense. No reason that a team with this much returning talent can win eight or nine games (28%, 95 Votes)
- I'm not sure the 2019 Buffs are going bowling, regardless of who is coaching. Nebraska and Air Force in non-conference, Oregon and Stanford replace Oregon State and Cal in Pac-12 play (19%, 67 Votes)

What trait are you most interested in from CU's next head coach?
- They must have a proven track record as a recruiter. If they can't recruit (and bring in assistants who can recruit), then the resume is irrelevant (46%, 199 Votes)
- They must have a proven ability to develop talent. CU is never going to be stocked with four- and five-star players. Getting the most out of players CU recruits is vital (23%, 98 Votes)
- They must have Power-Five head coaching experience. CU has tried two Mountain West coaches ... without success (21%, 89 Votes)
- They must have head coaching experience, i.e., no coordinators. CU is not a place for a coach to learn on the job (10%, 42 Votes)
Start Date: November 19, 2018 @ 6:58 pm
End Date: No Expiry
"Mike MacIntyre has been dismissed as head coach of the University of Colorado football team". Thoughts?
- While currently a villain, Mike MacIntyre did many great things for the CU program. Thanks, coach, for your energy and efforts over the past six years, (71%, 443 Votes)
- A good day for the CU program, but it all depends on who Rick George hires. CU is at a crossroads - I'll withhold judgment on this news until the new hire is announced (22%, 135 Votes)
- It's about time. This should have happened weeks ago. The team has been a disaster since the second half of the Oregon State game (7%, 46 Votes)
Start Date: November 18, 2018 @ 3:11 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Colorado falls to No. 21 Utah, 30-7. Thoughts?
- If Mike MacIntyre wasn't on the way out before, he should be now. That was a clear display of one coaching staff out coaching the other after the break (59%, 277 Votes)
- Congratulations to the national champion women's cross country team. Sorry, but I've moved on from football season. I'll get interested again next spring (30%, 141 Votes)
- I wish the team that played the first half would have come out after halftime. A disappointing effort, to say the least (11%, 55 Votes)
Start Date: November 17, 2018 @ 3:43 pm
End Date: No Expiry
It's time! Your prediction for the Snow Bowl v. No. 21 Utah
- It will be a game won in the trenches and by special teams. Utah has great lines and has All-Americans at the kicking positions. Utes have a title to play for ... Utah wins going away (45%, 118 Votes)
- The weather will keep the score down, which will keep the Buffs in the game for most of the afternoon. Buffs keep it close, but (once again) will be unable to find a way to win (28%, 74 Votes)
- Only 30,000 will attend, but 80,000 will claim to have been there ... focused Buffs rally for an upset on Senior Day!! (27%, 69 Votes)
Start Date: November 16, 2018 @ 1:37 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
