Thoughts on CU at Arizona (Fri., Nov. 2nd) ...
- This could be a pivotal game for both teams. Right now I'd rate it as a toss-up (53%, 97 Votes)
- I don't like CU's chances. The Buffs couldn't stop the Wildcats last year, and now must play Arizona on the road (25%, 46 Votes)
- I like CU's chances. The Buffs almost beat the Wildcats last year, even with Tate running wild (22%, 39 Votes)

The Rick George note I liked best:
- For the first time since CU started tracking data, the overall cumulative grade point average (for 351 student-athletes) topped the 3.00 plateau (3.005). (50%, 68 Votes)
- CU's record in all sports was 705-245-15, the 73.8 winning percentage the best this decade (39%, 53 Votes)
- 34 athletes earned All-Pac-12 team honors (18 first-team), with 33 earning All-America mention (15 first-team) (11%, 16 Votes)

Thoughts on new CU commit Mark Perry
- Like it. Highly-rated California prep star with a fair list of other quality offers. Welcome, Mr. Perry, to CU, a/k/a DBU! (53%, 113 Votes)
- Love it! A 6'1", 190-pound safety who can run a 4.59 40-yard dash. Gimme! (31%, 65 Votes)
- Not super excited. Another three-star recruit; another DB/WR commit. Any other commits in any other positions out there? (16%, 35 Votes)
Start Date: July 4, 2018 @ 6:38 pm

The most impressive CU news of the day ...
- That CU has been ranked in the Top 200 universities in the world (6th in the Pac-12) (42%, 42 Votes)
- That CU finished 37th nationally in Directors' Cup standings - despite having a minimum number of teams to earn points (36%, 36 Votes)
- That the CU Events Center is now named ... the "CU Events Center" (22%, 21 Votes)
Start Date: July 3, 2018 @ 6:35 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Thoughts on proposal to mandate weekly injury reports
- We'll see. There are a number of moving parts here. I hope the NCAA doesn't act in haste and make a wrong decision (59%, 73 Votes)
- Like it. The "integrity of the game" mandates no funny business with injured stars (31%, 38 Votes)
- Don't like it. The reports would only bring extra scrutiny to gambling lines (and make suspicion of corruption even greater) (10%, 12 Votes)
Start Date: July 2, 2018 @ 7:05 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
