Which of the following tidbits about the schedule released by CU do you like the best?
- That five of CU's game times have been announced so far ... and all five games will be nationally televised. Things are looking up for the CU program (even in the eyes of the networks) (63%, 154 Votes)
- That the Nebraska game will kickoff at 1:30 on Fox - a perfect time of day to showcase the return of CU football in Mel Tucker's first home game (28%, 69 Votes)
- That the CSU game will be nationally televised on ESPN. The start of the Mel Tucker era will be on display as the Buffs take down the Rams for the fifth straight season in the last Denver RMS (9%, 22 Votes)
Start Date: May 30, 2019 @ 5:57 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Corn Nation: CU "scared of Nebraska football fans invading Folsom". Thoughts?
- Just sad that it is necessary for CU to even have such a campaign. Buff fans need to step up and keep Folsom filled, regardless of the opponent (49%, 130 Votes)
- The Corn can make fun if they want, but it appears that the campaign has (for the most part) kept the Huskers from getting tickets, so the Buffs get the last laugh (35%, 93 Votes)
- Sad, but true. Even with the CU campaign to "Keep the Red Out", Folsom will be awash in red for Mel Tucker's home debut (16%, 43 Votes)
Start Date: May 29, 2019 @ 6:32 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Red-shirt freshman offensive lineman Casey Roddick may start this fall. Thoughts?
- I don't know if he'll start (or if he should), but I like his quote: "You have to work every day like you’re a second string player trying to get first string" (58%, 137 Votes)
- Like it. Roddick has gone from 386 pounds to 328, and is taking advantage of his opportunity. If the coaches trust him, I'm on board. Best players play! (39%, 92 Votes)
- Not a real fan. Roddick last saw the field of play in 2017 ... in high school. I trust Roddick will be good, but if the Buffs are starting freshmen on the line, it's going to be a long season (3%, 9 Votes)
Start Date: May 28, 2019 @ 6:12 pm
End Date: No Expiry
CU placed at No. 68 in the nation in 2019 S&P+ ratings. Thoughts?
- About right. Recent history is relevant until it's not relevant ... Buffs need to post some victories before these preseason calculations will have a better result (52%, 128 Votes)
- Hard to say ... I just look forward to the day (hopefully in the not-to-distant future) when these numbers skew in CU's favor (36%, 88 Votes)
- Way too low. Basing projections on recruiting rankings (anti-CU) and recent history (not factoring in Tucker & Co.) unfairly keeps the Buffs' ranking low (12%, 29 Votes)
Start Date: May 27, 2019 @ 6:32 pm
End Date: No Expiry
What impact will Jake Wray's commitment have on other recruits from the Southeast?
- To be determined. I would like to think that Tucker & Co. would keep lines of communication open with coaches they know in the South, but we'll see if that results in 2020 CU recruits (61%, 144 Votes)
- Significant. The new coaching staff has ties to the region, and Wray's commitment will encourage others to follow (25%, 60 Votes)
- Insignificant. Wray lived in Colorado for eight years growing up. I wouldn't put too much stock - or reliance - on a wave of recruits from SEC territory (14%, 34 Votes)
Start Date: May 26, 2019 @ 6:25 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
