What impact will Jake Wray's commitment have on other recruits from the Southeast?
- Significant. The new coaching staff has ties to the region, and Wray's commitment will encourage others to follow (0%, 0 Votes)
- Insignificant. Wray lived in Colorado for eight years growing up. I wouldn't put too much stock - or reliance - on a wave of recruits from SEC territory (100%, 0 Votes)

Athlon predicts that the Pac-12 will have ten bowl-eligible teams. Thoughts?
- Not sure ... but if there are ten bowl-eligible teams (and CU is not one of them), it will be a very disappointing season (52%, 75 Votes)
- Disagree. There will be separation, and there will be around 7-8 bowl eligible teams, just like in recent years (38%, 54 Votes)
- Agree. The league is so balanced (read: "mediocre") that I wouldn't be a bit surprised if there are a number of 6-6 and 7-5 Pac-12 teams come December (10%, 14 Votes)

Nebraska is ranked in the Top 25 of most preseason polls. Are the Cornhuskers contenders or pretenders?
- Not sure ... I just know that the Buffs better be ready for a sellout crowd (with plenty of red in it) for Mel Tucker's home debut. CU CAN'T lose this game!! (55%, 131 Votes)
- Pretenders. Nebraska loses its leading RB, leading WR wide receiver, 3/5 of the O-Line and 4 of 5 leading tacklers - from a 4-8 team. Don't listen to the hype (40%, 94 Votes)
- Contenders. The Cornhuskers turned it around in the second half of 2018. Scott Frost went from 6-7 to 13-0 in Year Two at UCF. Like it or not, the Big Red is not dead (5%, 12 Votes)

Which of the quotes from new Buff commit Jake Wray do you like the best?
- “I love coach Kap; absolutely love coach Kap. I love the whole staff that they’ve got going on there. There’s a really big movement going on" (61%, 179 Votes)
- “I went out there and took a visit and I fell in love. The biggest thing was I could live there if I wasn’t playing football" (30%, 87 Votes)
- I’m excited about the potential of the opportunity that I have. I’m excited just to get to work and help out in any way that I can" (9%, 26 Votes)

One author lists the Air Force game as CU's "trap game". What game would you list as CU's trap game?
- Air Force. I agree with the author. Sandwiched between Nebraska and the start of Pac-12 play, Plus, the Falcons are difficult to prepare for, and come after a physical game against the Cornhuskers (52%, 126 Votes)
- Colorado State. After four straight wins in the series, and the Rams coming off of a 3-9 season, it's possible the Buffs will look past the Rams and forward to the Cornhuskers (26%, 63 Votes)
- Arizona. The only home game between road games against ASU, Oregon and Washington State, the Wildcats will have the appearance as the easiest game in that stretch (22%, 54 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
