FanDuel win/loss projections have ten of CU's opponents being bowl-eligible. Thoughts?
- All I know ... With CU at 4.5 wins for the season, there will be some folks who make some money off of FanDuel come December (35%, 51 Votes)
- Way too optimistic. Anyone who sees a 4-8 Nebraska team having an over/under of 8.5 is looking at uniforms, not who is wearing them. Each season is different, and some teams will under-perform (34%, 50 Votes)
- About right. There was a definite step up in competition with the addition of Stanford, Oregon and Air Force. The Buffs are going to just have to deal with it (31%, 46 Votes)

Rate CU's chances against Washington State in Pullman on October 19th.
- Medium. CU catches WSU in a four-games-out-of-five on the road stretch, with a look-ahead game against Oregon after the CU game. If the Buffs are in the right frame of mind in mid-season, they can win (59%, 107 Votes)
- Low. If we're being honest, this is penciled in as an "L". CU has scored all of seven points the last two games combined v. WSU. That won't cut it against a Mike Leach offense (31%, 56 Votes)
- High. The Cougars are unsettled at quarterback, and one of these years, Mike Leach is going to come up empty with his plug-and-play replacement quarterbacks (10%, 19 Votes)

One of Athlon's "best bets" is to take the "under" on CU's over/under prediction of 4.5 wins. Thoughts?
- I'd take that bet. CU went 5-7 each of the past two seasons with personnel and coaching issues. Five wins is now the floor for CU, not the ceiling (39%, 73 Votes)
- We'll see. I would just like to fast forward a year or two, when such discussions are no longer associated with the CU football (36%, 67 Votes)
- About right. CU traded out Oregon State and Cal for Oregon and Stanford, and New Hampshire for Air Force. The schedule is a tough row to hoe, and this season will be a year of adjustments (25%, 45 Votes)

CU receives a commitment from junior college tight end Luke Stillwell. Thoughts?
- I have to have faith in Coach Tucker and Coach Pupunu that they see something here that others are missing. In Tuck we Trust! (63%, 151 Votes)
- Not super excited. An unrecruited player from the Class of 2018 who has only three other offers? To be honest, I thought we were past recruits like this (20%, 49 Votes)
- A big fan. Stillwell has the makings of a great tight end, and will have an extra year to grow into the position (17%, 40 Votes)
Start Date: June 26, 2019 @ 6:28 pm

Which quote from tight end commit Caleb Fauria do you like the best?
- On CU being his only official visit: “I knew I wanted to be a Buff" (41%, 95 Votes)
- "I’m fired up, It’s just the people and the way that coach (Mel) Tucker is going to bring this program up" (41%, 94 Votes)
- "He has a great group of coaches with him – coach (Darrin Chiaverini), (Al) Pupunu and coach (Jay) Johnson. I just believe that this program is on the rise" (18%, 43 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
