CU receives a signed Financial Aid Agreement from DL Antonio Alfano. Thoughts?
- Love it ... but I'll wait until Alfano actually enrolls (he can still back out) and is given permission by the NCAA to play in the 2020 season before I break out the champagne (42%, 164 Votes)
- Are you freakin' kidding me? This is the best day for the Buffs since the Nebraska game. A five-star defensive lineman coming to Boulder? Well done, Mel Tucker!!! (38%, 148 Votes)
- It looks like a great move on paper, but Alfano left Alabama under unusual circumstances, and CU doesn't have the best of luck with five-star recruits. Fingers crossed (20%, 79 Votes)

ESPN lists five CU games on list of 150 all-time greatest games. Your favorite?
- 1991 Orange Bowl - No. 1 CU 10, No. 5 Notre Dame 9 ... Can't get any better than winning the national championship (38%, 116 Votes)
- 1994 - "The Miracle at Michigan" - No. 7 CU 26, No. 4 Michigan 26. The most recognized game in CU history (32%, 97 Votes)
- 1989 - No. 2 CU 27, No. 3 Nebraska 21 - "The Pitch" from Hagan-to-Flannigan the highlight of the Buffs' run to an undefeated season and an Orange Bowl berth (22%, 68 Votes)
- 2001 Big 12 Championship game - No. 9 CU 39, No. 3 Texas 37. Buffs cap off magical season with first and only Big 12 title (7%, 21 Votes)
- 1990 - Fifth Down game - No. 8 CU 33, Missouri 31. Haters don't appreciate how Missouri fixed the field so the Buffs would slip all afternoon (1%, 5 Votes)

After Oregon's and Utah's big wins over USC and Washington - Will the Pac-12 have an entrant in the College Football Playoff?
- No. Even though Oregon is at No. 7 and Utah at No. 8, there are too many teams ranked above them who will finish out above either the Ducks or the Utes (46%, 110 Votes)
- Yes. Both teams have cleared their greatest remaining hurdle. The Pac-12 champion will be in the Playoffs (29%, 69 Votes)
- Don't care. I'm not a fan of either Oregon or Utah, and, with CU faltering, am losing interest in college football for the season. Bring on Boyle and the basketball season! (25%, 58 Votes)

UCLA 31, Colorado 14. Thoughts?
- There's no denying that the Buffs had their chances. It was easy to spot which team was on a winning streak and which was on a losing streak, as the Bruins took advantage of CU mistakes (37%, 114 Votes)
- I cannot believe that I am wasting this much emotional energy on a team which is this bad. The 2019 team is worse than the 2018 team - it appears Tucker & Co. are in over their heads (37%, 114 Votes)
- At least the cross-country team can win titles, and basketball season starts next Friday. Not much to look forward to with the football team, I'm afraid (26%, 84 Votes)

This is it! Your prediction for CU at UCLA (Saturday, 7:00 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks)
- Two poor defenses in a shootout. This weekend, the Buffs won't let it slip away. Buffs pick up a road win in the Rose Bowl! (50%, 122 Votes)
- I can see it as a back-and-forth game, but the team on a two-game winning streak will get the best of a team on a four-game losing streak. Buffs lose late ... again (27%, 65 Votes)
- I'm not sure I see how the porous CU defense is going to stop the UCLA rushing attack. The Buff offense will score, but not enough - Bruins pull away late for a double-digit win over the Buffs (23%, 57 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
