A D'Schawn Schwartz putback of a McKinley Wright miss with 3.3 seconds to play gives CU a 72-70 win over No. 24 USC. Thoughts?
- Survive and advance! The Buffs take out tournament-bound USC for the third time this year, and have a chance at their second Pac-12 title! Go get the championship, Buffs! (75%, 237 Votes)
- I'm just happy for seniors D'Shawn Schwartz and McKinley Wright, who teamed up (albeit unwittingly) on a finish which Buff fans will be talking about for years (14%, 44 Votes)
- That sound you hear is my heart beating again after the Buffs allow the Trojans to tie the game with a 14-2 run in the final four minutes. Great win ... but it didn't need to come down the wire (11%, 33 Votes)

Buffs overcome early deficit, build a double-digit lead, then hang on for a 60-57 win over Cal. Thoughts?
- On a day when UCLA was forced into overtime (and lost) and USC was forced into double overtime (before winning), any win is a good win. Survive and advance! (73%, 210 Votes)
- Tough to have a play a game which ends past midnight (thanks, Pac-12!). Guess it's just as well the nation didn't get to see CU almost blow a nine-point lead in the final 48 seconds (18%, 53 Votes)
- Thank goodness the Buffs were playing the last place team in the conference. Any other opponent and the Buffs' Pac-12 tournament would be over after one game for the second straight season. Lucky! (9%, 26 Votes)

Defensive lineman Antonio Alfano ends his career at CU before it begins, entering the Transfer Portal. Thoughts?
- With his epilepsy and other issues, I'm not sure that he will ever play college football. I hope everything works out for him ... on and off the field. (58%, 239 Votes)
- You can't miss what you never had. Alfano never got on the field for the Buffs - not even the practice field. It is what it is - I'm happy to focus on the Buffs in uniform (31%, 126 Votes)
- Just add Alfano to the list of the highest-ever rated CU recruits to wash out (Marcus Houston, Darrell Scott, etc.). CU destined to never have a five-star prospect who becomes a five-star player (11%, 45 Votes)

McKinley Wright passed over for Pac-12 Player-of-the-Year honors. Thoughts?
- I just hope that the Buffs win their game against Stanford/Cal, and get to face USC in the semis ... and Wright takes the opportunity to show the country why should have been the Pac-12 POTY (68%, 188 Votes)
- Wright had a good season, but Evan Mobley was not only the Player of the Year but the Defensive Player of the Year. A likely Top Five NBA draft pick, he was a logical choice (19%, 52 Votes)
- Figures. Until or unless Colorado breaks through and starts winning Pac-12 titles and/or NCAA tournament games, achievements of its players will not receive conference and national recognition (13%, 36 Votes)

Which figures from the CU RAPID Report do you find to be the most interesting?
- That in FY '20, which includes a COVID shutdown over the final four months, CU still showed a profit of $3.6 million (and that CU has basically broken even financially over the past three years) (73%, 128 Votes)
- That in the spring semester (2020) all 15 of CU's athletic teams had a cumulative GPA over 3.0 (up from 11 of 15 for the Fall, 2019, semester (25%, 44 Votes)
- That in FY 2019, CU raised $27.2, but in FY 2020, that fundraising was almost cut in half, down to $14..5 million. Not a huge surprise, but it shows there is plenty of work to do going forward (2%, 3 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
