It's time! Your prediction for Colorado at Oregon (Saturday, 1:30 p.m., MT, Fox):
- It's going to over early, and it's going to be ugly. The Buffs were embarrassed by a 1-5 team last week - how will they do against an Oregon team looking for style points? I shudder to think (70%, 162 Votes)
- The Buffs have something to prove, and the Ducks will be looking forward to taking out their aggressions against Washington next week. Oregon wins, but it will be closer than the 26-point spread (19%, 43 Votes)
- Oregon only led Arizona at home by five points in the fourth quarter, and trailed Cal in the fourth. Call me crazy, but with a few turnovers and a few key stops, I think the Buffs can win (11%, 26 Votes)

What to you would constitute a "win" for the Buffs in their game against Oregon?
- Unless the dictionary definition has been changed, a "win" is given to the team with the most points at the end of the game. For CU, a "win" still needs to be an actual win (47%, 123 Votes)
- Pretty much anything which doesn't lead off Sportscenter with a "you won't believe what the Ducks did to the Buffs today". Get out of Eugene without injury, and at least a shred of dignity (29%, 76 Votes)
- It shouldn't be too much to ask for the Buffs to be competitive. Oregon has been far from dominant, and CU has the talent on the roster to compete. I'd like to see them do just that (24%, 62 Votes)

Which of the other Pac-12 games this weekend for you holds the most interest?
- UCLA at Utah ... Do or die for UCLA's division chances; Utah's chance to take firm control of the South division race (68%, 129 Votes)
- Oregon State at Cal ... CU's opponent from last week v. CU's opponent for next week. It will be interesting to see how this plays out (27%, 52 Votes)
- Washington State at Arizona State - Are the Cougars going to mail it in without a coach? Will Arizona State keep its Pac-12 South title dreams alive? (3%, 5 Votes)
- Washington at Stanford ... Tale of two disappointed teams. The coach of the losing team will hear more hot seat rumors come Sunday (2%, 4 Votes)
Start Date: October 27, 2021 @ 4:30 pm

Dorrell: "Leadership takes guys doing the right things and keeping guys accountable to doing the right things". Thoughts?
- Sounds like a deflection of responsibility. The players are 18-22, and Dorrell is being paid millions to lead them. If the locker room is leader-less, it's on the coaches, not the players (43%, 114 Votes)
- I just hope that this is the first week of the new Buffs. I don't expect the Buffs to magically become competitive with teams like Oregon, but even some marginal improvement would be appreciated (39%, 105 Votes)
- True statement. There have been comments from players (Broussard/Rice) that not everyone in the locker room is on board. It's time for players to accept some ownership (18%, 48 Votes)
Start Date: October 26, 2021 @ 4:43 pm

Karl Dorrell fires offensive line coach Mitch Rodrigue: “I felt this was the appropriate time to make a change". Thoughts?
- I will give Dorrell credit for making some sort of a move, with the understanding that more changes are coming at the end of the season. If no more changes are made, then this move was a waste of time (52%, 197 Votes)
- That's it? Darrin Chiaverini still has a job? Putting lipstick on a pig - CU is 130th out of 130th in total offense, and firing one coach will make a difference? Color me unimpressed (31%, 119 Votes)
- Glad the move was made. Perhaps it should have come a few weeks ago during the bye week, but I'm glad to see that Dorrell is recognizing changes need to be made (17%, 63 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
