Senior defensive lineman Janaz Jordan dismissed from the team. Thoughts?
- A part-time contributor on a unit which is perhaps the most talented and deepest on the team. Hate to lose a senior, but, if there had to be a loss on the team, this may hurt the least (36%, 92 Votes)
- La'Vontae Shenault got about six chances to make things right, but Jordan is dismissed from the team? I hope this is nothing bad, but it seems like a harsh penalty for a longtime Buff (34%, 87 Votes)
- A significant blow in an important position. Sorry to see him go, but will withhold judgment until there is more information (if ever) as to which of the "team rules" were violated (30%, 78 Votes)

Colorado football players launch the "Boulder NIL Club" seeking donations for Buff football players. Thoughts?
- It's fine, but it's small potatoes. When will Jeremy Dougerty and friends launch their Collective? That's what CU will need to be competitive for recruits and transfers (56%, 111 Votes)
- I like it. CU players taking the initiative (with a website format used by other schools, including Oregon). Not sure how successful it will be at CU, but I'm glad they're trying (32%, 64 Votes)
- I'm not a fan. Sure, you can get a Laviska Shenault jersey or a dinner with some players, but this just seems wrong to me. It's the way of the world now, but that doesn't make it right (12%, 22 Votes)

Both ESPN SP+ and Jon Wilner's final preseason win total projections have CU coming in at 3-9. Thoughts?
- Not to put too much pressure on the first game, but if CU can't overcome TCU (5-7 last year; new coach), it's hard to see the Buffs beating more than three other teams on their schedule (44%, 126 Votes)
- Sorry, but Buff fans have been seeing the world through black-and-gold colored glasses. You can't be terrible, lose your best players, and expect better results. It's going to be a long year (30%, 86 Votes)
- It's been a long nine months, but I'm glad the CU bashing is about to come to an end. National publications don't do their homework when it comes to schools like CU - Shock the world, Buffs! (26%, 72 Votes)

Which Neill Woelk "Takeaway" from CU's last scrimmage of the Fall to you was the most important?
- None of the above, really. Every good play on offense is a bad play on defense, and vice versa. None of this means anything until the opposition is wearing a different colored uniform (50%, 131 Votes)
- Neill wrote: "J.T. Shrout looks more and more comfortable in the Buffs' offense, as he had another efficient, productive day, leading a couple of nice scoring drives". Has a starter been chosen? (41%, 109 Votes)
- That the offense had four plays of over 20 yards or more. Explosion plays were another area of emphasis this off-season, so it's good to see the offense getting some big plays (6%, 17 Votes)
- That the defensive line had four sacks. CU was 126th in the nation in sacks last year, and this has been an area of emphasis. Looks like mission accomplished (3%, 6 Votes)

What was the best news to come out of CU's second scrimmage on Saturday?
- That both wide receiver RJ Sneed and offensive lineman Tommy Brown are both going to be back at practice on Monday. If CU is going to be successful this fall, they need these to transfers to play (60%, 133 Votes)
- That senior safety walk-on Anthony Lyle was given CU's final scholarship for the 2022 season. A special teams standout, Lyle represents what's still good about college football (22%, 48 Votes)
- That head coach Karl Dorrell was impressed with how well the team played (except for the penalties), with the defense making goal line plays (and no new injuries reported) (18%, 40 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
