CU's all-time leading rusher - and Kansas City offensive coordinator - Eric Bieniemy named Washington Commanders Assistant head coach/offensive coordinator. Thoughts?
- It's sad Bieniemy had to take this path. They say he "doesn't interview well", but that doesn't mean he can't coach. Shame on the NFL owners for not taking a chance on EB (44%, 123 Votes)
- A smart move. It was becoming clear that Bieniemy was not going to get a head coaching job directly out of Kansas City. This is his path to a head coaching position (32%, 89 Votes)
- A suicidal move. Bieniemy could have won several more titles with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes, and now he's working for a lousy team and a lousy owner. This won't end well (24%, 67 Votes)

Which of the following quotes from Coach Prime's ESPN interview do you like the best?
- "We will not settle for mediocrity ... You're going to get on this program, or you're going to get up out of here. We plan on winning and we don't have time to procrastinate" (71%, 170 Votes)
- "This place is beautiful, and I'm pretty sure, with the lack of success, is people get complacent around here. They don't understand the beauty and the diamond you have" (15%, 36 Votes)
- "It's a whole different level of expectation around here, and you got to be able to play the game ... It's a whole different game now" (14%, 33 Votes)

Colorado is back to having the No. 1 Transfer Portal Class of 2023. Thoughts?
- It's (another) great day to be a Buff! What was CU's Transfer Portal rank last year? 78th. It's hard to explain just how exciting - and unexpected - this has all been, but I'm lovin' the ride! (47%, 118 Votes)
- A brave new world of national media attention - and expectations. My hope is that this hype will translate into a winning season, so that the momentum will carry through to the Class of '24 (46%, 116 Votes)
- Nice to see, but it will change again this spring when the second Transfer Portal window opens and the carousel is turned on again. I just hope that at least some of these prospects work out (7%, 18 Votes)

CU reports sale of over 27,000 tickets for the 2023 Spring Game. Thoughts?
- This is amazing! The CU attendance record for a Spring Game is 17,800, and almost all of those games have been free. A true testament to the excitement being generated by Coach Prime (55%, 133 Votes)
- I'm enjoying doing the math. Over 27,000 tickets at $10 a pop. That's over a quarter of a million dollars which didn't exist before Coach Prime. Rick George was right about "finding the money" (39%, 95 Votes)
- An impressive number, but Coach Prime has been talking about a sellout. With ticket sales certain to drop off after the initial rush, will it be a "disappointment" if CU doesn't sell out? (6%, 14 Votes)

What will it take to get you to go to a CU women's basketball game this spring?
- Sorry. While I am certainly glad the women's team is doing well this year, and will follow their progress during March Madness, I don't see myself going to a game (71%, 110 Votes)
- Been there, done that, got the t-shirt! The women play some quality team basketball, and have a huge Whiteout game coming up against No. 3 Stanford on the 23rd. Be there! (14%, 22 Votes)
- Well, the Buffs have moved up to a No. 4 seed in the bracketology, and the top four seeds in each region get to host NCAA tournament games. If the Buffs earn home NCAA games ... I'll be there! (15%, 22 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
