Which of the following quotes from DC Robert Livingston do you like the best?
- "I can't say enough about our strength staff. They have done a phenomenal job. There are some body types and you look around, 'That's who in that number?' They look different" (57%, 17 Votes)
- On the linebacker room: "It is an uber competitive room ... I am excited for the room. I think there is a lot of ability in that room. I think it could be a strong suit for us" (33%, 10 Votes)
- On NIL influencing starting decisions: "We're going to play the best players. Some of these stories you hear make no sense to me. I got four kids, they like nice things. We need to win games" (10%, 3 Votes)

Byron Leftwich (finally) joining CU's coaching staff. Thoughts?
- Great news! Leftwich will not only help in mentoring CU's two star quarterbacks, he will help with recruiting of future quarterbacks (and the retention of Julian Lewis after this season) (71%, 105 Votes)
- I'm just wondering how much of an effect this will have on the 2025 season. Even if Leftwich is around for all 15 fall practices, will he really make that much of a difference this fall? (21%, 31 Votes)
- All fine and good, but can he really coach college quarterbacks? Leftwich hasn't coached at this level, and hasn't coached at all since 2022. Is this style over substance? (8%, 12 Votes)

Coach Prime announces that he has been treated for bladder cancer, and is back to coach the Buffs this season. Thoughts?
- Amazing news! Very sorry for what Coach Prime has been going through, but very happy that his cancer was caught early and treated. Congratulations, Coach! Welcome back to Boulder! (52%, 126 Votes)
- Very nice to hear Coach Prime is doing well, but the best news was when the surgeon said Coach Prime is "cured of cancer". That's not a phrase physicians use lightly (38%, 93 Votes)
- A very good day, but it's naive to think the issue is going away. Recruits are already hearing, "He won't be there next year". This will be the narrative until next year's spring game (10%, 23 Votes)

Which of the following position battles on offense will be most interesting to you during Fall Camp?
- Offensive line. I hate to sound like a broken record here, but without solid line play, none of the other questions matter. CU has Jordan Seaton ... then who else? We need a starting five to emerge (47%, 82 Votes)
- Quarterback. People are assuming that the job is Kaidon Salter's to lose, but I'm not so sure. If Julian Lewis can show a command of the offense, the highest-rated recruit in CU history may start (26%, 45 Votes)
- Running back. Someone has to take control and be the No. 1 back, right? (Right?). If CU is going to rank somewhere higher than last rushing, a No. 1 back needs to emerge (21%, 37 Votes)
- Wide receiver. CU's top four wide receivers from last season are all in the NFL. Whoever is quarterback is going to need 2-3 dependable wideouts to throw to. Will they be identified in Camp? (6%, 9 Votes)

Coach Prime will conduct a press conference with his doctors on national television on Monday. Thoughts?
- A smart move. Clear the air about whatever it is that he has been going through, so it won't be a distraction during Fall Camp and into the season. Let the press have its day, then move on (52%, 84 Votes)
- I'm glad to get some answers, and have my fingers crossed that this is all good news. If Coach Prime says this is his last season due to his conditions ... Wow, let's not go there (41%, 67 Votes)
- Not sure the extra drama is a good idea. He's been away from Boulder for two months (not a good look) and leaving pundits the weekend to speculate about his condition and its affects (7%, 11 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
