Colorado a 14-point favorite over Central Arkansas ...
- At this point, it's too early to assume the Buffs are a sure bet to win any game, even this one (57%, 211 Votes)
- I'm sure the Buffs will win, but it will be a closer game than predicted (27%, 100 Votes)
- Take the bet! New coaches, new confidence ... Buffs roll! (16%, 61 Votes)

What concerns me most about Saturday's game ...
- Will the defense be able to contain CAU's mobile quarterback? (54%, 214 Votes)
- None of the above ... Just win! (24%, 95 Votes)
- Will the special teams be able to contain Bear return men? (13%, 53 Votes)
- Will the offense be able to establish a run game? (9%, 32 Votes)

First impression, Central Arkansas ...
- Loved what I saw Sunday, but Buffs will have to work to win this one. It'll be a nail-biter (52%, 191 Votes)
- Another big day for CU. Bears are good, but CU has more talent - and now some confidence. Buffs pull away in second half (40%, 146 Votes)
- I have a bad feeling about this. CU struggles against 1-AA teams, and CA is the best one CU has faced (8%, 32 Votes)

My grade for the Mike MacIntyre coaching staff v. CSU
- A ... After three victories in two seasons, any victory deserves an "A" (45%, 189 Votes)
- B ... A good win, but special teams, rushing attack, and pass rush need work (38%, 161 Votes)
- Incomplete ... Happy so far, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Let's wait a few games (17%, 72 Votes)

My take on CU's 41-27 victory over CSU
- An excellent team victory, but there are still concerns (like special teams) which need to be addressed (58%, 244 Votes)
- Pass the Kool-Aid! Mike Mac has them believing, and the team is going places! (23%, 98 Votes)
- Not so fast my friend. Happy with the win, but every team between now and November had at least eight wins last season. Still going to be a long year (19%, 76 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
