My gut feeling about the team after one week of fall camp ...
  • I'm feeling better, but not yet sold. I'm hopeful, but need to see the product on the field before buying in (51%, 169 Votes)
  • I'm not there. Been burned by optimistic talk before. This team still has a long way to go just to get to mediocre (29%, 97 Votes)
  • I'm drinking the Kool-Aid! I'm beginning to think CU is going to surprise a lot of people this fall (20%, 66 Votes)

My reaction when I see Rick Neuheisel's name ...
  • Neutral. He's been gone for almost 15 years. I don't associate him with CU any longer (46%, 110 Votes)
  • Negative. He dumped CU for Washington ... after lowering CU's level of play (13-10 his last two seasons) (39%, 95 Votes)
  • Positive. He was 33-14 as CU's head coach. Why not let go of the venom and embrace the positives? (15%, 36 Votes)

After Stanford and Oregon, the third best team in the Pac-12 this season will be:
  • UCLA (51%, 123 Votes)
  • USC (24%, 58 Votes)
  • Arizona State (11%, 26 Votes)
  • Washington (10%, 24 Votes)
  • Oregon State (4%, 9 Votes)

AD Rick George signed to largest administrator contract in CU history
  • Fine with me. I also like that there are plenty of incentives in the contract (57%, 134 Votes)
  • I'm stuck on the bonus for raising $15 million by next June. What happened to $50M by December being "doable"? (32%, 76 Votes)
  • Too much. Production first, then ridiculous contract. Raise some money first, then we'll talk (11%, 26 Votes)

Start Date: August 7, 2013 @ 7:04 pm

My reaction to the news embargo at Fall Camp
  • It's fine. CU is one of only two Pac-12 schools to allow fans access. It's a small price to pay (85%, 214 Votes)
  • It's ridiculous. A CSU coach can come and watch practice. Does CU really think internet discussion is going to give out information the opposing teams can't get on their own? (15%, 37 Votes)

Start Date: August 6, 2013 @ 8:48 pm

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
