My thoughts on selling naming rights to Folsom Field ...
- Show me the money! It's an accepted practice, and CU can use the extra cash (58%, 147 Votes)
- No. No. No. Folsom Field should always be just Folsom Field (23%, 59 Votes)
- Depends on the name ... "South Park Stadium" sounds better than "Celestial Seasonings Complex" (19%, 48 Votes)

CU/CSU is 100 days away! My updated prediction for 2014 ...
- Five wins. Would love to see a winning season; expecting improvement (47%, 112 Votes)
- Six or more wins. CU goes bowling for the first time since 2007! (38%, 90 Votes)
- Four of fewer wins. Lest we forget, two wins last year were over 1-AA teams. Three or four wins would still be progress (15%, 34 Votes)

How should "one-and-done" issue with men's basketball be resolved?
- The NBA should set an age limit for draft eligibility (55%, 70 Votes)
- Neither. There is nothing wrong with "one-and-done" - athletes should be allow to play in the NBA after one year at college (25%, 32 Votes)
- Like Pac-12 Presidents propose - resume freshmen ineligibility if necessary (20%, 25 Votes)

AD Rick George: Stipends will add $1 million to CU's budget
- It is what it is ... I just wish CU could have the chance to get its financial house in order before adding another expense (53%, 84 Votes)
- Student-athletes are already well "compensated". Stipends should be resisted (25%, 40 Votes)
- A logical balance between the current situation and the slippery slope of paying players (22%, 36 Votes)
Start Date: May 20, 2014 @ 11:06 am

USA Today has CU as the No. 101 team in the nation; No. 11 in the Pac-12
- About right on Pac-12, but low nationally - Buffs are better than 101 out of 128! (44%, 100 Votes)
- About right on both. CU has to prove something on the field before any better projections can be expected (34%, 78 Votes)
- Too low a ranking, both nationally and in the Pac-12. (22%, 51 Votes)
Start Date: May 19, 2014 @ 11:13 am

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
