What is your interest level in Fall Camp?
- High. The off-season is finally behind us, and the 2024 campaign has officially begun. I'm looking forward to stories and interviews about my Buffs. Bring on the season! (62%, 121 Votes)
- Medium. I'll be looking for stories about how the team is doing, and, hopefully, no stories about injuries. Excited for the season, but this is just the prelude (24%, 47 Votes)
- Low. No coverage inside the practices ... short, almost scripted interviews ... nothing really to see hear. Wake me up in five weeks, when the season really starts (14%, 26 Votes)

New chancellor Justin Schwartz: “I’ve never ascribed to the win-at-all-cost (mentality)". Thoughts?
- Sounds right. “I’m a fan, but I’m also a fan of doing things the right way", is about what you would hope to hear from your new Chancellor (43%, 75 Votes)
- All I can say about Schwartz right now is that since he is a diehard Cubs fan, he knows what it means to finally win it all ... Plus, his name is not DiStefano, which is a step in the right direction (30%, 52 Votes)
- Sounds like a red flag to me. In this new world of collegiate athletics, where nice guys not only finish last, but risk being relegated, CU needs a Chancellor who understands it's kill or be killed (27%, 46 Votes)

Which aspect of the 100-page House agreement to you will have the most significant long-term implications?
- The $2.78 billion in back pay, with the NCAA formalizing schools having to come up with $22 million every year ... with a 4% increase every year. How many schools will be able to keep up? (45%, 48 Votes)
- That the issue of Title IX has not been finalized, either for the back pay or future payments. That 900-pound gorilla could still derail everything which has been agreed to previously (37%, 39 Votes)
- The scholarship limit of 105 football players. Going from 85 to 105, but taking out walk-ons, will have a huge impact on the game. No more stacking rosters with "walk-ons" like Cormani McClain, SEC (18%, 19 Votes)

Rate your interest in the 2024 Paris Olympic games
- Medium. There will be some stories worth following, and, as a sports fan, you can't help but watch and read about some of the drama. (44%, 92 Votes)
- Low. It's a reasonable distraction with little else going on, but definitely not something I'll go out of my way to watch (32%, 67 Votes)
- High. The basketball, gymnastics and track and field will dominate the coverage, but once the Games begin, it's easy to find multiple individuals and teams to cheer for over the next two weeks (24%, 52 Votes)
Start Date: July 25, 2024 @ 12:05 pm

MGM has Colorado as a 30:1 shot to win the Big 12. Are you taking that bet?
- Sorry, but no. If you are asking me whether CU will have a winning season and get to a bowl game, I could be on board, but winning the Big 12 after two 1-8 seasons to close out the Pac-12? Nope (42%, 58 Votes)
- Sure. It's worth a small bet with those odds. Other than perhaps Utah (and even the Utes have questions), there is no clear-cut favorite to win the league. Take the bet! (36%, 49 Votes)
- Maybe. I'd have to see the Buffs get through Fall Camp unscathed first. There are just too many spots on the roster with depth issues to take this kind of a bet in July (22%, 30 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
