Thoughts on commitment of Valentin Senn
  • I guess I'll trust the coaches (again), and hope that Senn develops into a Power-Five talent (71%, 175 Votes)
  • Not rated by either recruiting site, with the "best" other offers from Akron and UConn. Thanks, but no thanks (16%, 39 Votes)
  • A 6'7", 280-pounder with loads of potential. Keep an eye on this one! (13%, 31 Votes)

Which recent commit do you like best?
  • Is it okay if I love both commitments? (31%, 45 Votes)

The news of the day I found most disconcerting

  • That Oregon fans want two extra hours to drink at tailgates before home games (4%, 6 Votes)

My favorite Tim Lynott quote ...

Would you take a CU national championship ... but with NCAA sanctions?
  • No. Some things are wrong, and not worth it, ever. (56%, 116 Votes)
  • Well, if the title brought about top recruiting classes and ten-win seasons ... then maybe (28%, 57 Votes)
  • Yes. Sanctions - and forfeited wins - are quickly forgotten. A national title is forever (16%, 33 Votes)

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
