  • Love it! A 6'1", 190-pound safety who can run a 4.59 40-yard dash. Gimme! (31%, 65 Votes)
  • Not super excited. Another three-star recruit; another DB/WR commit. Any other commits in any other positions out there? (16%, 35 Votes)

Thoughts on proposal to mandate weekly injury reports
  • We'll see. There are a number of moving parts here. I hope the NCAA doesn't act in haste and make a wrong decision (59%, 73 Votes)
  • Like it. The "integrity of the game" mandates no funny business with injured stars (31%, 38 Votes)
  • Don't like it. The reports would only bring extra scrutiny to gambling lines (and make suspicion of corruption even greater) (10%, 12 Votes)

USA Today: CU brought in $94.2M in revenue last year
  • Like it. Glad CU is somewhat keeping up with the Joneses - at least for now (57%, 117 Votes)
  • Love it! Colorado 38th in the nation, despite not having premier football and basketball of late (well done, Rick George & Co.!) (30%, 62 Votes)
  • Hate it. When you are bringing in 50% less than Oregon, you're in trouble (13%, 27 Votes)

The Pac-12 leads the country in national championships
  • Good news. It's nice to see that the "Conference of Champions" continues to hold the title (41%, 58 Votes)
  • Not news. As long as the California schools dominate sports like beach volleyball and water polo ... this will always be the case (39%, 55 Votes)
  • Bad news. For a conference with no titles in football or basketball since 2006 ... this should not be touted by the league (20%, 27 Votes)

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
