Transfer Portal Purgatory: Only 26.5% of Power Five entries into the Portal have landed in Power Five programs. Thoughts?
- I'm just interested ... With that many players out there, shouldn't there be one or two offensive tackles/defensive backs for CU to pick up before Fall Camp starts? (51%, 92 Votes)
- It's been predicted for some time. Players got some bad advice, and now are paying the price. I feel for them, but supply greatly exceeded demand (28%, 50 Votes)
- This will probably have a chilling effect on the Transfer Portal, at least for the next few years, until the COVID classes have been diluted out of the system (21%, 38 Votes)

CBS Sports projections has CU winning two non-conference games ... and two conference games. Thoughts?
- It is what it is. Until CU can string together a series of winning seasons and bowl appearances, the default positions for preseasons prognosticators is to predict CU to fail (77%, 157 Votes)
- Wouldn't mind the 2-1 record in non-conference play (wins over UNC and Minnesota; loss to Texas A&M), but if the Buffs can beat Minnesota, they can will more than two Pac-12 games (14%, 29 Votes)
- This is getting old. CU went 4-2, including a blowout loss in a bowl game. Oregon went 4-3, including a blowout loss in a bowl game ... and the they're picked to win ten games. Anti-CU bias continues (9%, 19 Votes)

Pac-12 Athletic Directors discussing an eight-team conference schedule; elimination of divisions. Thoughts?
- Makes sense. If other conferences stick with an eight-game conference schedule, it will be more difficult for the Pac-12 champion to escape unscathed ... and that could cost the Pac-12 playoff bids (48%, 131 Votes)
- I can see the eight game conference schedule (if other conferences won't go to nine), but I'd hate to see the elimination of divisions (who wants an Oregon/Washington rematch in December?) (39%, 107 Votes)
- I like the elimination of divisions (helps to secure the highest-ranked champion), but it will be tough for teams in the west to come up with quality non-conference opponents (13%, 34 Votes)

Which of CU Athletic Director Rick George's comments about incoming Pac-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff do you like the best?
- “The ADs requested the meeting because we want to work with him from Day One. It was candid, it was transparent, and it got me fired up about what lies ahead" (48%, 81 Votes)
- “We’re not pausing, and he’s not pausing. This AD group is very supportive of George, and we want to work with him. I came out of the meeting very energized about the future" (38%, 64 Votes)
- "We discussed all the important items. Everybody had the ability to weigh in ... I liked that he wants to come on our campuses and spend time meeting people" (14%, 24 Votes)

The news story with the greatest significance (at least to you) from Monday ...
- That CU announced that Folsom Field and the CU Events Center will be at 100% capacity. I can't wait to see a full stadium and CEC this fall (41%, 97 Votes)
- The Supreme Court rules against the NCAA in the Alston case. Fans may not see it yet, but this is the beginning of the end of the NCAA as we know it (38%, 90 Votes)
- That CU lost a commitment from defensive end Carlton Madden. Seen it before: 1) CU identifies a talent; 2) player goes to camps and recruitment blows up; and 3) CU loses commitment. Sad. (21%, 49 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
