CU men's basketball team picks up a come-from-behind win on the road against Stanford, 73-70. Thoughts?
- A good road win against a better-than-their-record Stanford team. With lowly Cal up next, the Buffs are primed for a six-game winning streak (53%, 115 Votes)
- The Buffs trailed for most of the game, and were in very real danger in the last minute of falling to 0-3 in Pac-12 play. Thank goodness KJ Simpson is playing like a first-team All-Pac-12 selection (40%, 87 Votes)
- Sorry, not sorry, but I really haven't been paying attention to the Buffs so far this season. A month ago, CU was a "basketball school" ... Now? Not so much ... (7%, 13 Votes)

CU picks up its sixth transfer commitment from Jackson State, outside linebacker Jeremiah Brown. Thoughts?
- CU is in the top three in the nation in the Transfer Portal. Coach Prime may end with a team consisting of 40-50 new players ... but if that's what it takes to turn CU into a winner, then I'm all in (70%, 212 Votes)
- I certainly have to defer to Coach Prime when it comes to evaluating talent, but Jeremiah Brown isn't one of the higher rated transfers. Were there better front seven players out there for CU? (19%, 59 Votes)
- You have to love the Louis Vuitton luggage that Coach Prime is bringing to Boulder. Buff fans wanted more help on the edge, and Jeremiah Brown fits the bill. Welcome, Mr. Brown! (11%, 32 Votes)

CU picks up a commitment from Class of 2024 defensive lineman Eric Brantley, Jr. - Thoughts?
- The second highly rated Class of '24 defensive lineman from Georgia in three days? (A four-star and a likely four-star to be). Coach Prime's Christmas just keeps on giving!! (52%, 162 Votes)
- I love the commitments, but these are both Class of '24 commits, and CU has a hole in the line this year ... Does this mean there are some graduate transfer D-Linemen on the way? I hope so ... (31%, 96 Votes)
- I'm excited for the 2023 season, but I'm not sure that I want to see December, 2022, come to an end. Perhaps the best off-season month in CU history? I'm going with "Yes!!" (17%, 52 Votes)

Where do you think Shedeur Sanders will rank in the list of top Pac-12 quarterbacks in 2023?
- The top third. There has already been some dark-horse Heisman talk around Sanders, and with the athletic skill position talent CU is acquiring, it's not a stretch (50%, 175 Votes)
- The middle third. Sanders is a quality quarterback, but in a Pac-12 with Caleb Williams, Michael Penix, Bo Nix and other returning starters, there's no shame in being in the middle third in Year One (45%, 160 Votes)
- The bottom third. Only Cal and Stanford have questions at quarterback. In a conference with so many tested starters, Sanders will need start at the bottom (at least in perception) and work his way up (5%, 18 Votes)

CU currently has 31 new players for the 2023 roster. CU is allowed to have 85 scholarship players on its roster come August 1st. How many names on the roster will be new?
- 40-45. Coach Prime will settle on about half of the roster being turned over in his first year. There is still plenty of excitement to come, with another dozen or so transfers coming to Boulder (44%, 149 Votes)
- Over 45. Coach Prime wants to win, and he wants to win now. From his first speech to the team on Day One, he has been honest about the roster. Wholesale changes will continue through the spring (39%, 131 Votes)
- 35-40. There are still some additions to be made, but it will start slowing down now. Most of the roster (thankfully) has been upgraded. A few defensive linemen from now, we'll have our 2023 roster (17%, 55 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
