Which of the following CU Hall of Fame honorees is your favorite?
- Mason Crosby - Destined to also be a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Crosby was a bright light during some dark days in Boulder. His long range and game-winning kicks are the stuff of legend (47%, 70 Votes)
- Jeff Campbell - "Soupy" will always be remembered for his punt returns, and his reverse for a touchdown against 1986 - and he has remained a loyal and passionate Buff (33%, 49 Votes)
- Barry Remington - Still, after almost 40 years, CU's career leader in tackles. Oh, and his interception in the '86 Nebraska game to seal the win was an unforgettable moment (20%, 31 Votes)

Which of the following quotes from sophomore offensive tackle Jordan Seaton is your favorite?
- "I wish everybody could actually just come to Colorado, come to a practice and, like, really see how much pain and work we really put in" (46%, 50 Votes)
- “I know I want the consensus All-American ... But the more games we win, the more individual success we will see" (32%, 35 Votes)
- “This offseason has been the most locked in I’ve ever been in my life ... I’m actually excited to showcase what I’m able to do with my team" (22%, 23 Votes)

In a ranking of Big 12 quarterbacks, CU's Kaidon Salter is rated as the 12th-best. Thoughts?
- I get a kick out of how 5-7 Utah will bounce back with a new quarterback from New Mexico, but CU gets dissed for bringing in a quarterback from Liberty. Bias against CU seemingly knows no limits (50%, 83 Votes)
- Ignore. I'm glad we're almost done with the preseason prognostications. Salter had a 2,000-yard passing, 1,000-yard rushing season at Liberty. How many other Big 12 quarterbacks can say the same? (41%, 68 Votes)
- Probably about right. There are a half dozen quarterbacks in the Big 12 this year who could be drafted next April. Salter has his work cut out for him to prove that he is one of the best in the Big 12 (9%, 15 Votes)

Which of the following conference games would you rate as CU's "easiest" this fall?
- Arizona - November 1st ... The Wildcats are in shambles, and the Buffs get them at home after beating them, 34-7, in Tucson. By November, Arizona will be looking for a vacation, and maybe a new coach (86%, 124 Votes)
- at Houston - September 12th ... A Friday night game, even on the road, will bring out the best in Coach Prime's Buffs. Houston (4-8 last year) isn't ready for Prime Time ... but CU is (12%, 18 Votes)
- at West Virginia - November 8th ... Rich Rodriguez added over 50 transfers to the roster this off-season. Remember how CU's lack of depth along the lines was exposed in 2023? That'll happen here (2%, 3 Votes)

CU receives a commitment from four-star linebacker Rodney Colton. Thoughts?
- Okay, this is what we've been waiting for. A four-star prospect who turns down dozens of Power Four offers to come to CU ... Oh, and in a position of need. Welcome, Mr. Colton, to the black-and-gold! (72%, 109 Votes)
- Here's hoping that Andre Hart and Coach Prime can turn CU back into a linebacker factory. This is a good start, as Colton could be a four-year starter for the Buffs going forward (25%, 37 Votes)
- Too bad Colton isn't a Class of 2025 recruit. I hope CU can hang on to its three linebacker commits, as it is clearly an area of emphasis in recruiting this off-season (3%, 5 Votes)

Stuart:
I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
