CU adds defensive backs Terrance Love (Auburn) and Teon Parks (Illinois State) over the weekend. Thoughts?
- We'll have to see how this plays out, but neither player seems to have as much playing time as Buff fans would hope. Added depth is always welcome, but I'm not sure they're more than that (44%, 47 Votes)
- I'm excited about both pickups. Both have playing experience, and both have three years to play two in Boulder. Coach Prime is not only adding talent, but young talent to the roster (34%, 36 Votes)
- Recruiting sites can never make up their minds. Love was a four-star recruit at 247 Sports, with three dozen Power Four offers two years ago, but now he's the No. 1174 player in the Portal? (22%, 23 Votes)

What to you was the best part of CU's 2025 Spring game?
- That the Buffs apparently got through the spring with few if any major injuries, and, at least for now (with a week to go in the Spring Transfer Portal), most of the team in tact for the fall (53%, 90 Votes)
- That, despite a worrisome weather forecast, over 20,000 fans showed up, and were treated to some actual football ... and on national television. I hope next spring it will be CU v. Syracuse! (34%, 58 Votes)
- That Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter received a great sendoff to the NFL Draft on Thursday, and that Coach Mac will finally be getting his statute at Folsom Field (13%, 22 Votes)
Start Date: April 19, 2025 @ 10:28 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Which for you would be the most promising result of CU's Black and Gold Day?
- No injuries, and no postgame announcements of players leaving (with perhaps a commitment or two from the Transfer Portal). All I want from Saturday is a strong complete roster, with a few faces added (76%, 122 Votes)
- That CU shows some semblance of a rushing attack. Not that we want CU's defense to be porous, but watching the line create holes, and watching the backs take advantage, would be sweet (12%, 20 Votes)
- That both Kaidon Salter and Julian Lewis shine at quarterback, with Ryan Staub showing enough that he wants to stay on the roster. A good quarterback room is key to CU's success in 2025 (12%, 19 Votes)
Start Date: April 18, 2025 @ 10:19 pm

Which of the following quotes from CU's last pre-spring game press conference do you like best?
- Coach Prime on the Buffs run game this year: “We’re gonna run the heck out of the ball … you’re probably gonna see two more running backs out of the portal as well" (42%, 66 Votes)
- Safety Carter Stoutmire on his loyalty to the program and the transfer portal: "I don’t think there’s a number out there that could get me to leave" (34%, 54 Votes)
- Coach Prime on his contract: "I love it here. I adore it here. I wanted to get some things done before I was able to to do what we did long term. ... I just ball, the money finds you" (24%, 38 Votes)
Start Date: April 17, 2025 @ 6:39 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Rate your level of concern about how many Buffs will enter the Transfer Portal this Spring (April 16th-25th)
- Medium. There are always going to be defections, but there haven't been too many rumblings about players leaving. If we can get past "Black Monday" (after the Spring game), CU should be fine (48%, 88 Votes)
- Low. The nucleus of the team is in place, and CU has become a destination program. The Spring Transfer Portal will be about additions, not subtractions. Sit back and enjoy the ride (42%, 78 Votes)
- High. The first two Springs under Coach Prime were epic, but I'm hoping for continuity this spring. This can be a good team .. if CU can keep the core from defecting for more money (10%, 19 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
