Are you paying close attention to the news and numbers coming out of the NFL Scouting Combine?
- I'm just glad to have CU players be part of the conversation. How many times has CU had one (or none) at the Combine. Now, CU is one of the teams getting the most attention. I love it! (61%, 91 Votes)
- Not really. There is so much time between now and the April draft, and a player's "wingspan" isn't something I feel I need to pay much attention to in March (31%, 47 Votes)
- Yes! Shedeur and Travis are making headlines without participating, and CU's wide receiver prospects are showing out, raising their draft stock (8%, 12 Votes)

Big 12 presidents and athletic directors reviewing bids from three finalists in the league’s pursuit of a capital partner. Thoughts?
- Way too early to know. How much will the capital partner be giving each school? What will they expect in exchange down the road? How will this affect realignment prospects? Many unanswered questions (87%, 95 Votes)
- Good idea. With the House settlement monetary requirements and the ever evolving need for new dollars, it's good that the Big 12 is looking outside the box to raise extra dollars (6%, 7 Votes)
- A bad idea. Selling the conference's soul in exchange for dollars today is a bad business model, and could well backfire in the Big 12's faces. The ghost of Larry Scott looms large here (7%, 7 Votes)

Travis Hunter is the center of attention at the NFL Combine. How important is this to the CU football program?
- It's huge. Every national combine story includes "CU" and "Heisman Trophy winner" in the text. You can't tell me that isn't helping with recruits, donors, and advertisers (51%, 71 Votes)
- It helps, but not all that much. Those who are focused on the Combine are more interested in where their NFL team is going to pick up their next star, not the college the player comes from (26%, 36 Votes)
- It's very important, but not as important as CU's Pro Timing day will be in a few weeks. The national attention then will help other Buff prospects get some ink leading up to the Draft (23%, 33 Votes)

Chances that sophomore quarterback Ryan Staub is on the CU roster after spring practices
- Medium. Staub is the only quarterback on the roster who has taken a snap at CU, and Staub didn't leave in December when he had the chance. I'm guessing he'll stick it out and stay a Buff (61%, 109 Votes)
- Low. Staub started the '23 game against Utah, and deserves the opportunity to play. I expect that Staub will work hard this spring, and then transfer to a school which will give him a chance to play (29%, 52 Votes)
- High. There are only three quarterbacks on the roster, and one is a true freshman. Salter and Lewis have received the headlines, but Staub has two years experience in the Shumur system (10%, 18 Votes)

Which of the following quotes from offensive tackle Jordan Seaton do you like the best?
- "I don’t think nobody can (mess) with me this year. That’s just how I feel. It is what it is" (39%, 62 Votes)
- “I’m not too much of a talker, but I feel like if I lead by my example and how I carry myself day to day, other people will tag along and start taking on some of the things I do and the way I work" (32%, 50 Votes)
- “They left a good foundation here, so now all we’ve got to do is put our head down and just work. My three-month goal right now is just to get my body fat down, trim, have a good core" (29%, 46 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
