Governor signs bill allowing for additional multi-year contracts
  • Great news! The last road block to CU being a national player has been removed (59%, 152 Votes)
  • Good news. We just have to hope that this won't lead - at some point - to CU having to buy out several long term deals (34%, 87 Votes)
  • Not news. Unless big time donors appear, CU won't be giving out many long term deals (7%, 18 Votes)

B.G. Brooks: "I'll go with 7 wins and a bowl game". Your post-spring CU forecast:
  • 8-9 wins. A slight step back from 2016, but still an excellent year (59%, 189 Votes)
  • 6-7 wins and a minor bowl. There are just too many unknowns right now to predict more (33%, 108 Votes)
  • 10+ wins. "The Rise Is Real", and will continue. CU shocks the nation - again! (8%, 26 Votes)

What I liked best about the CU Spring Game
  • No players were injured; CU escapes spring down only two running backs (49%, 105 Votes)
  • The Buff defensive line appears to have found quality replacments (20%, 43 Votes)
  • All three quarterbacks looked good (18%, 38 Votes)
  • The wide receiver corps is loaded with talent (7%, 15 Votes)
  • The CU secondary seems like it has plenty of speedy options (6%, 12 Votes)

Start Date: March 19, 2017 @ 4:35 pm
End Date: No Expiry

The most surprising (in a good way) Spring Award
  • DT Lyle Tuiloma and DT Frank Umu as most improved defensive linemen (36%, 63 Votes)
  • WR Kabion Ento as most improved offensive back (25%, 43 Votes)
  • OL Josh Kaiser as most improved offensive lineman (22%, 39 Votes)
  • CB Trey Udoffia as most improved defensive back (13%, 23 Votes)
  • LB Drew Lewis as most improved linebacker (4%, 7 Votes)

Start Date: March 18, 2017 @ 3:54 pm
End Date: No Expiry

What I will be watching for most out of the Spring Game:
  • Defensive line play. Will the JC players show they are ready for the Pac-12? (38%, 101 Votes)
  • QB play. Is Montez in control? Are Noyer and Lytle the real deal? (32%, 85 Votes)
  • A lack of injuries. With a glorified scrimmage, all that matters is getting through in tact (29%, 78 Votes)
  • WR breakout. Which wideout will stand out from a talented group? (1%, 4 Votes)

Start Date: March 17, 2017 @ 8:38 am
End Date: No Expiry

  1. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  2. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  3. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
