With four-star cornerback Kenneth Crawley in the fold, my take on Yuri Wright
- I still want him. Off field issues insignificant; Buffs still need defensive backs (68%, 215 Votes)
- I would still take him, but I am less excited about taking the risk (23%, 73 Votes)
- I would pass. Crawley's commitment allows Buffs to take a pass. (9%, 29 Votes)

If Colorado cannot land a four-star recruit this year, I will take it as a sign
- That this Class is about depth. Quantity the first step; star power comes later (65%, 151 Votes)
- That Embree & Co. cannot recruit as well as we thought. (19%, 44 Votes)
- That I need to cheer for the BB team, because it is going to be a long road back for football at CU (16%, 39 Votes)

Of the uncommitted players visiting this weekend, the commit I would like the most would be from:
- Linebacker Seth Jacobs (71%, 140 Votes)
- Offensive lineman Isaiah Folasa (13%, 25 Votes)
- Wide receiver Jason Gaines (10%, 20 Votes)
- Defensive end Derek McCartney (4%, 7 Votes)
- Defensive end Ewing Simmons (2%, 5 Votes)
Start Date: January 21, 2012 @ 1:42 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Four-star CB Yuri Wright expelled for explict tweets ...
- CU should definitely still take him! A relatively minor infraction; Embree and Co. can turn him around. (50%, 149 Votes)
- A star player in an area of desperate need. Keep the offer open, and hope he can turn things around. (31%, 91 Votes)
- A problem child and a potential drag to the program. Standards cannot be lowered - just say "no" (19%, 57 Votes)
Start Date: January 20, 2012 @ 8:49 am
End Date: No Expiry
Of the recent quaterback transfers/defections, the one which would look best in black-and-gold would be ...
- Jake Heaps - BYU (48%, 90 Votes)
- Nick Montana - Washington (33%, 62 Votes)
- Pete Thomas - Colorado State (11%, 20 Votes)
- Brock Berglund - Kansas (8%, 16 Votes)
Start Date: January 19, 2012 @ 4:04 pm

Stuart:
I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
