Two weeks from the opener, two-deep roster remains a mystery
- Fine with me. Keep the Rams guessing for as long as possible (60%, 148 Votes)
- Perhaps it's because ... CU is not two deep at every position (29%, 72 Votes)
- Name your starters and move on. With open practices, if opponents want to scout the Buffs, they can (11%, 25 Votes)

My prediction for the year CU goes to its next bowl game:
- 2014 - Some growing pains this year, but a bowl is a definite goal next fall (46%, 122 Votes)
- 2015 - Just like at San Jose State, Mac & Co. have a three-year rebuilding project (28%, 73 Votes)
- 2013 - Buffs went 1-10 in 1984; bowling in 1985. It can happen! (22%, 57 Votes)
- 2016 or beyond - Will only revise when I start seeing actual W's posted (4%, 13 Votes)
Start Date: August 16, 2013 @ 3:11 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Asst. coach Troy Walters thinks the Buffs' WR's can be one of the Pac-12's best
- Not headline worthy. What would you expect him to say? (39%, 96 Votes)
- I'm drinking the Kool-Aid! Paul & Co. will shock the league this fall! (36%, 88 Votes)
- Probably not quite right ... Maybe next year (if Richardson returns for his senior year) (25%, 62 Votes)
Start Date: August 15, 2013 @ 7:09 pm

Coloradoan publishes two slanted stories about RMS ...
- Just shows how desperate little brother is to keep up with the Buffs (43%, 110 Votes)
- Don't have an opinion. I refuse to read anything related to the Lambs (34%, 86 Votes)
- Upsets me ... that CSU has a hometown paper than bleeds green-and-gold, while CU has to fight uphill against media (23%, 60 Votes)
Start Date: August 14, 2013 @ 7:39 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Colorado ranked 86th (out of 126 FBS teams) in the nation by CBS
- About right ... as hard as it is to admit. Just hope the rankings are better in December (72%, 209 Votes)
- Too low. CU is the lowest rated team in the Big 5 conferences, and that just isn't possible (16%, 48 Votes)
- Too high. Until it's proven on the field, the 2012 stats are CU's barometer (12%, 35 Votes)
Start Date: August 13, 2013 @ 7:32 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
