My projection for Paul Richardson ...
  • 3rd round - Full slate of top notch receivers push Richardson down this far, but he will still be a second day pick (47%, 110 Votes)
  • 2nd round - Would have been first round without the torn ACL (39%, 90 Votes)
  • 1st round - Some team will figure out what a game-breaker P-Rich can be (9%, 21 Votes)
  • 4th round or lower - Lack of size and injury concerns make P-Rich a risk (5%, 12 Votes)

My level of concern about Tad Boyle leaving for a program like Missouri or Tennessee
  • Medium. It's always possible, though unlikely, that Boyle will leave the Buffs for another program (47%, 124 Votes)
  • Low. Boyle considers CU to be a destination, not an intermediate stop (39%, 102 Votes)
  • High. Teams which can double Tad's salary are always going to be a threat (14%, 38 Votes)

Do you pay attention to the Spring Games of other Pac-12 teams?
  • No. None at all ... I have a life, thank you very much. (73%, 110 Votes)
  • Somewhat. If there are breakthrough players or injuries, I will take note. (16%, 24 Votes)
  • Yes. I'm a football junkie, and I like to know how the competition is doing (11%, 16 Votes)

My projection: CU's Recruiting Class of 2015 will be ranked ...
  • In the top 50. A winning season (or close to it) will bring CU back to national relevance (76%, 133 Votes)
  • In the top 75. CU still has a ways to go before top-rated talent will come to Boulder (20%, 34 Votes)
  • In the top 25. It's time for Mac & Co. to take recruiting to the next level (4%, 7 Votes)

Ten days out from the deadline for declaring for the NBA draft ...
  • Spencer Dinwiddie will declare for the draft. It's a done deal (36%, 89 Votes)
  • It depends on how many other underclassmen declare next week. If too many others declare, the Mayor might stick around (34%, 85 Votes)
  • Spencer Dinwiddie will return to Colorado. Too much uncertainty on where he will be drafted keeps him a Buff in 2014-'15 (30%, 75 Votes)

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
