ASU's Todd Graham would prefer an eight-team playoff
  • I agree. Giving five power conference champions an automatic invite would lead to better non-conference matchups (55%, 110 Votes)
  • No opinion. Just guessing - Graham wouldn't mind four teams if his team was ranked 4th instead of 6th (28%, 56 Votes)
  • I disagree. If we were at eight, teams like Alabama and Florida State would be locks - instead of nervous (17%, 34 Votes)

Jordan Gehrke to get some playing time in final two games
  • Makes sense to have a few designated series for Gehrke, but Liufau should see the majority of drives (60%, 157 Votes)
  • He should start. Let's see what he can do from start to finish (29%, 77 Votes)
  • Bad idea. Message to seniors: We don't care about winning, we've moved onto 2015 (11%, 28 Votes)

CU will be playing FB (at Oregon) and MBB (at Wyoming) at the same time next Saturday ...
  • I'll do both. Football is on an hour earlier ... the game should be "over" before tip-off (50%, 102 Votes)
  • Not a conflict. I'm all about football; I'll check in with basketball later (37%, 76 Votes)
  • Not a conflict. I'll pay attention to basketball ... instead of the rout (13%, 26 Votes)

Should Sefo Liufau be replaced at starting quarterback?
  • No - All Liufau has done is set records in this offense. Two more games of experience will make him that much better in 2015 (76%, 224 Votes)
  • Yes - Liufau's four turnovers cost CU the Arizona game. He leads the Pac-12 in interceptions. With the season over, it's time to give Gehrke an audition (24%, 72 Votes)

CU falls to No. 19 Arizona, 38-20 ...
  • A frustrating loss - in the long run - is better than a blowout loss. I just wish the final score reflected how close the game really was. (58%, 142 Votes)
  • A loss is a loss is a loss. Recruits want to play for a winner, and CU has nothing to show for these close losses. The hole just got a little deeper (23%, 55 Votes)
  • Despite the final score, the Buffs played great and deserved to win. I'm excited about the future of this team! (19%, 46 Votes)

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
