CSU just outside the latest AP poll, at No. 26 in the nation
- Great for CSU and great for the state. It will mean that much more to beat them next year! (63%, 175 Votes)
- I hate it. I can't stand little brother having anything to brag about. (21%, 59 Votes)
- Hey, if a good record means McElwain leaves and the Rams have to start over, I'm all for their success this year (16%, 45 Votes)

My prediction for CU's record in November ...
- 1-3 - A split at home; drop the two on the road (43%, 144 Votes)
- 2-2 - The two home games against Washington and Utah are winnable (27%, 91 Votes)
- 0-4 - The Buffs can't get over the hump, and the competition is too tough (17%, 58 Votes)
- 3-1 - Only the game at Oregon is off the table (9%, 30 Votes)
- 4-0 - Once the Buffs break through, there will be no stopping them! (4%, 9 Votes)

CU falls to No. 25 UCLA, 40-37, in double overtime ...
- Very pleased with this team. The Buffs continued to fight, and they deserved to win (52%, 145 Votes)
- It doesn't matter what I think. It still goes down as another loss, leaving CU winless in Pac-12 play. Wins and losses are all that matter (36%, 101 Votes)
- Very upset with this team. First quarter indifference, late second quarter idiocy cost Buffs (12%, 34 Votes)
Start Date: October 25, 2014 @ 4:28 pm

Has "Homecoming" lost its meaning in college football?
- Yes ... but there's no reason to get rid of it. It's meaningless, but harmless (45%, 51 Votes)
- Yes - It's not an extra draw for fans, and students don't pay much attention to this out-dated tradition (28%, 32 Votes)
- No - There are still parades and reunions. It's a nice addition to the football season (27%, 30 Votes)
Start Date: October 24, 2014 @ 8:28 pm

The most interesting (other) game in the Pac-12 this weekend

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
